Sounds like an absolutely perfect day, wonderful end to the week and amazing start to the weekend
Loving the photo of you two guys in five guys! Sounds like you had great weather it was mainly grey here today. Good news re the bid success your very hard work sounds like it’s paid off. Have a well earnt rest this weekend @Goonergal
Not sure about cardigans - you'll be keeping cats and buying lots of soup next. Fat Face is a winner thoughThanks. It was great. On a high so walked from Euston to Cannon Street (about 2 miles) to catch train home! @DJC3 managed to find time to buy a cardigan in Fat Face at Euston station!
Hi everyone,
@Goonergal -- So good to hear that you and @Debandez enjoyed your time together. I have to admit you are two very good looking women.
Today was a bit frustrating for me. Haven't been really feeling up to snuff, a bit of a cold coming on, my gums are also hurting. Hope after some decent sleep, I will feel a lot better. Unfortunately blood sugars were a bit higher today too, hardly dropped below 5.6 and as high as 6.6 (something I don't normally see a whole lot of) -- I know not really surprising given the way I feel, but still frustrating.
Breakfast: Two double decaffeinated espressos with cream and erythritol.
Lunch: One wiener sausage. Chicken cubes fried in a pan with homemade sate sauce (about 6g of carbs per 100g) plus the fried chicken skin (in my opinion the best part of the chicken).
Dinner: Homemade soup with coconut milk, red curry paste, beef stock, oxtail, little beef dumplings, bellpepper, celery, mushrooms, fennel, pumpkin and onions. About two tablespoons of Oppo vanilla ice cream with sesame brittle. Two glasses of red wine, which eventually caused my blood sugar levels to drop below 5.6.
Hope y'all enjoy a wonderful weekend.
Hope you soon feel better xHi everyone,

Hi, I love the roasted sprouts, I can’t believe how good they taste. Haven’t tried the Parmesan yet but will do. I have cooked them twice now, once with bacon then tonight with pepperoni.Hi all
@Goonergal that’s a great photo, you and @Debandez look v slim and athletic. Well done on just buying the one cardi.
@ziggy_w hope it doesn’t develop into anything too horrible, wise move having a couple of glasses of wine to fend off impending cold.
@ianpspurs I hope you’re fast asleep by now and feel a bit more rested tomorrow
@jayney27 roasted sprouts are my new favourite veg. Couldn’t have imagined it a couple of years ago. Have you tried a sprinkling of grated parmesan on top before roasting?
To get back on topic-
B: A scrambled egg with quite a lot of fried mushrooms. Coffee and cream
L: Potted Crab and brown shrimp thing from Waitrose with 4 low carb seedy crackers. Side salad of leaves, walnuts chia seeds and olive oil dressing. CCB afterwards. Coffee and cream
D: Leftover portion of chicken korma ( lowcarbmaven.com) with roast broccoli and a DD naan. Another CCB to follow.
Have you tried making mayo with avocado oil, @Brunneria?Evening
B: goatsmilk yog with a good blob of crunchy peanut butter. Yum!
L: leftover chicken thigh rogan josh
D: baked salmon and a golfball sized new potato, with helmans
I’m looking for a nice, rapeseed and sunflower oil free mayo. Anyone know of one?
Fundays are the best.Even though it's Fat Friday (my treat day) I've been very restrained! Maybe I'll have Faturday tomorrow instead.

Ok, I know what you mean about the waste it or eat it decision. I will keep a look out in the posh delis when I am shopping.I’ve made it with olive oil, part olive oil, and part avocado, but (confession time) I was hoping to find a ready made brand.
If I make my own mayo, I either ‘eat it up’ or I chuck the rest because it is getting old. Both seem wasteful. Whereas a bought brand has a longer shelf life.
I’ve heard good things about baconnaise, but haven’t collected enough bacon grease (yet)
Been plodding along, even though I have been unable to get online for a while.
Realising missing breakfast has been extending the high fasting numbers I have abandoned for now the shorter eating window and having almond milk coffee in the morning. It seems to be helping, and I am seeing 5s and 6s throughout the day on my BG meter. There is still the annoying 8s fasting, though. I am averaging
Today:
B: almond milk coffee
L: babybel cheese and walnuts. (I was caught out unexpectedly unable to get home, and this was my emergency pack) drank lots of water, too.
D: Not hungry after eating low carb toasted muffin with peanut butter, mineral water.
Finding it very difficult to eat more.
