What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I didn't sleep at all last night... stress :arghh:.. and work stress at that :yuck:
When I'm tired, I usually get hungry and eat loads, so today took a lot of restraint.

B: Apple and cheese and a few cashew nuts
L: Roast Chicken, and some salad bits, mozzarella, and a teaspoon of hummus.
D: Pork loin sliced up and tossed with smoked Paprika, with a side salad and some tex mex cheese.

I even cut back on the coffee - only consuming one cup today, as I wanted to avoid another sleepless night.
I might have a cup of decaf with cream before bed, as I'm craving energy I think.
 
Yesterday ...

Breakfast: Two cups of double decaffeinated espressos with cream and xylitol, a wiener sausage and half a low-carb role with butter.

Lunch: Nothing.

Afternoon: One glass of red wine after having been out shopping.

Dinner: Left-over cauli rice with coconut milk, lime and cilantro and left-over stuffed chili peppers. Three squares of 85% chocolate.
 
Today ...

Breakfast: Two cups of decaffeinated espressos with milk and a bit of xylitol. Home-made low-carb flat bread with mayonnaise, avocado and cheese.

Lunch: A hamburger with cheddar, onions, tamatoes, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard and low-carb ketchup on a low-carb bun.

Dinner: Corn-salad with Caesar's dressing, parmesan and chicken.

Snack: Five pieces of 85% chocolate.
 
Tuesday....

Breakfast: Paleo Porridge with 40g blackberries (very filling)

Lunch: Half a Lidl roll with pate, rather a lot of green side salad

Dinner: 150g Steak (Asda ribeye - not very nice, won't buy again), aubergine oven chips done in half a tablespoon chilli and garlic oil, a baked tomato and some baked mushrooms

Drinks: Coffee with breakfast and sparkling mineral water for the rest of the day
 
Been a bit slow to catch up! (23/8/17) at 6pm
B - Nuts and seeds cereal with oaty "milk" camomile tea
L - couple of hard boiled eggs, soya coconut dessert (Alpro) and crushed Nairn's choc cookie
with ginger tea (added turmeric, still not too sure about it!)
D - veggie sausage dinner, mixed veggies and gluten free/meat free gravy
small glass oaty 'milk'
drunk about 3L water so far
 
Brunch 11-30 am smoked mackerel
Evening Meal 5-15 pm chicken cauliflower. Green beans sweet potato slices + cups of tea and coffee during day and water
May have strawberries and reduced fat Creme fraishe

Bf avocado wedge smashed into slice of deli chicken. Nespresso x2

Lunch. Cold lamb chop with mayo
Second lunch same as first but with avocado wedge
Snack cheese and wine. Extra wine as it's my 20 year anniversary
Dinner. Not sure. Fish of some sort and avocado. Probably more wine oops.
Of snack is needed AGAIN, macadamia nuts.

We celebrated our 20th in February. Enjoy the wine.
 
Glad to say whatever was wrong with me is passing over but feeling a bit washed out despite my early night last night. BGs getting back to normal - bed 6.4 FBG 5.4 and pre breakfast was 7.3. Getting back into the 5's during the day as well. Sickness has gone too.
B. Slice Hovis lower carb seeded with salmon pate and Tassimo Americano Grande with a dash of cream.
L. Mixed leaf salad with red onion , chopped tomato and sliced chicken. Balsamic dressing. 2 black coffees. Urban Fruit triple toasted coconut chips.
D. Salmon fillet, tablespoon prawns, fresh anchovies, lettuce, 4 cherry tomatoes, 4 mozzarella pearls, 2 Walnuts.
Last of the Chia Pudding with a few blueberries.
Lots of water.

Yesterday ...

Woke up feeling famished, so ate a lot early in the day.

Breakfast: Two cups of double decaffeinated espressos with cream and a bit of xylitol. A low carb role with butter, a wiener sausage.

Lunch: A huge portion of left-over cauli rice with coconut milk, lime and cilantro, some left-over stuffed chili pepper. Four pieces of 85% chocolate.

Dinner: Two small merguez sausages.
 
Wednesday...

Breakfast: Chia pudding (made with unsweetened coconut milk and Crusha no added sugar banana) with 40g blackberries

Lunch: Two crackerbreads with 100g pineapple cottage cheese

Dinner: 125g ball of mozzarella, a fairly big beef tomato straight from the greenhouse, half an avocado, lettuce, radishes, cucumber (also from my greenhouse) and a little bit of red onion - no mayo

Evening 'snack' - 50g of black olives (that I'd originally planned to have with dinner but forgot)

Drinks: Black decaff coffee with breakfast, mid morning and lunch - then sparkling mineral water for the rest of the day.
 
Yesterday:
B: 1 slice of toasted Wensleydale cheese ( Lashings of cheese!)
L: Ham/ cheese omelette with side salad
D: Chicken sandwich
Treat whilst out/ about: 1 small pkt plain crisps
Drinks: Black tea/ diet coke/ 1 small latte
 
Didn't have strawberries and Creme fraise BG this morning 5.8 no medication just diet controlled 17 years there about. K
 
Tea x 2 cos I was up before 4am o_O
B: A few bits of tinned grapefruit
11am: Bacon & egg butty
Late lunch: Chicken salad & Light & Free yougurt
T: Kheema curry & 1 tbsp basmati rice & coke zero
Tea during the day & just had a milky coffee
