What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I have a gaggle of them, misspent past and now I play test subject A when required

It was my Ayurvedic GP who suggested vit D due to me being mixed race. She is Asian herself and I dragged her into a round table with my other lot to share info back in March. My western GP added iron, cal-mag and zinc.
My children are mixed race and my son's doctors recommend vitamin D to help with his mental health .

4.7 this morning.

My phone appointment with my neurologist was supposed to be this afternoon he phoned me at 9 AM did not accomplish much just carry on taking the pills and see you next year a five minute call and that was all.

I had to cut Judith's breakfast up for her this morning as she has a huge bandage on her left hand and can't quite manage a knife and fork. 2nd degree scold/burn sustained when getting hot water from a boiler in the staff kitchen at work yesterday.

Sounds like you will be cooking for a time?
These cursory appointments with specialists are not really keeping health issues in check.
Hope your better half recovers quickly.

Morning all.
6.4..back up the ladder of joy
Temp up 36.4
All good.

You ever got those days when dropped toast doesn't land on the buttered side..?

Had one this morning.
Have all my bits for hols, or so I thought.
PP, ins, tickets, clothes.

But no International drivers licence...:woot::wideyed:

I'd forgotten all about it.

So check on line IF I need one
And it's a very mixed bag
on whether I need an international licence to ride bike in turkey or not.

We missed trip to India, so I knew I didnt have one for that....

BUT..we had one for Vietnam,
(And just to note, usually it's been a one year permit.
But it now runs for 3 years.)

Only thing is there are 2 (3) protocols.
We had 68....
What would turkey need....:bag::sorry:

Yehaw, 68 as well.
So that's saved me trekking around, for
pics and post office..I'm calling that a WIN.
:D

Bike collected, bike insurance FINALLY sorted out
4 days trying to get through to specialist group (multi cover) who might be working from home, but WON'T let you get quotes on the web..
4 ******* days ..hours wait each time .dread to think what the phone bills going to be .:wideyed:

But sorted, so new scoot settled in,

Madames had haircut, pedicure
I had haircut too..

Just one last trip ..a few more t shirts for the beach, then cull mine and pack.

Then wrestle over EVERY item with missus, before culling 2 or 3 times until the lid on her suitcase, can actually close. :hilarious:

Then it's adiós, UK,

hello you lovely beaches ❤️

I do most of the cooking here anyway that's one of the reasons every one is basically low carb but not exclusively I do cook normal meals as well for them grandson is the exception he quite often refuses to eat my low carb meals as they aren't low carb enough.:)

Unfortunately, I eat LC so I never feel better. Could be worse, at least I don't have a Montezumas habit:angelic:
Ah - a Montezuma habit. Could you possibly be referring to me. Very sadly I have to report that I am now the proud owner of a Montezuma 100% mountain. I didn't quite realise just how many bars I ordered until they were delivered today. So - guilty as charged.

Enjoy them, you deserve it. Talking of enjoyment, I don't see why I would be expected to enjoy LC food as it is effectively a treatment. I didn't expect to enjoy chemicals being injected via Mr Floppy I just wanted it to work.

Ouch for your good lady, hope it sorts quickly. Doctors, surely they should be prominent in a health crisis and such times as we are all in not hiding away, so frustrating.

You had a Yuk day but some good times ahead, go enjoy the warm sand between your toes.

Mrs MC called off visit to MILs bungalow thank goodness so another watercolour sketch today. Yesterday late Mountain Bike Ride as the sun was dropping over the Shropshire Countryside. This view is from the West side of Cannock Chase. The sun was a haze and the land melted into the sky. A4 sketch painted from memory, 20 minutes. Will do a proper painting from this sketch but not today.

If it rains, it may be coats and wellies jumping in puddles.
Wow, what strange apparel you have up north, I'm glad my wellies and coats do not behave in such away. :)

Nice bush you have captured there, you are becoming the master of digital trees.

Skiddaw from the North, a few miles from home a couple of days ago.
Some of the climbers will be able recognise the distant peaks in the Western fells as your eye takes you over the 'shoulder' of Ullock Pike into the distance.

Enjoy them, you deserve it. Talking of enjoyment, I don't see why I would be expected to enjoy LC food as it is effectively a treatment. I didn't expect to enjoy chemicals being injected via Mr Floppy I just wanted it to work.

I thought you were talking of Montezumas
revenge, then again you would need a whole wardrobe full of habits! :)
