What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Hi @gennepher - Bizarrely, although it shows a photo of a roll, it came in a flat pack so no folds. I have ordered it twice so reasonably confident it will come flat. This is the one I ordered: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XF7QPZX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes, it was hard work and the coal had get into the right place in the firebox.
Some of the big Pacifics had corridor tenders so the crew could change over on the long runs.
D.

Thanks @geefull. Maelstrom comes to mind - and a lot of noise. Fab. Hug for your mum.

Not a good trip then to the World State City of London, otherwise known as Mordor. Anything today should be better than that.

Indeed, I thought Bham was bad enough but that there was a whole new level. We have no way of containing or controlling this virus based on what I saw. Might as well just forget it exists and go back to their apparent 'normal'.

5.9 this morning and I am in hiding

Good Morning and a6 for me today.

Today's sunrise here is pure gold, those trees are even more autumnal today, a fine start to any day.

More rest, more frustration with back. Painted two doors yesterday the stretching actually helped but two was enough. So more art and music as rain is forecast.

Keep safe.

I feel a bit of a fraud posting here with no fbg for some time but since you are all such spiffing chums I do it anyhow. Have safe and pleasurable days everyone. Granddaughter and dog care day today whilst probably dipping in and out of here and online newspapers. Thanks for the toad in the hole recipe @dunelm. Scratched that itch last night. Pip Pip old toots and any Maytals.

Good morning everyone from another day of possibilities in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of chicken with lemon, coriander and spinach came in at 4.8 this am

Baby sitting duties yesterday - park, ducks, squirrels, trees, lake, bridges - then promenade, sea, beach, avoid, masks, gel.
MIL not good - it has to be a telephone consultation from a nurse practitioner first and then a 10 point escalation plan that eventually gets to to see a visual representation of what in the old days we called a doctor. Mrs Miggins went over to help with the call (useful having a speaker function).

Today, clearing out the little indoor garden in the room with no name and re-planting to make a herb patch. Lunch with one of our nieces in a Covid select antisocially arrange, deep cleaned and operating theatre standard PUB. All masked up until seated please.

Painting today using one brush and on rice paper. May today be kinder to you than it was yesterday. Koffy time.

Smashing, play Monkey Man with granddaughter and dog.

Did we ever? I am more and more coming to the opinion we all at some point will get Covid, as indeed you have, the only reason the supposed controls are offered is to take the pressure off the Health Service and any blame for high death rates embarrassing the Government, certainly not to protect the vulnerable in the population, just a means of slowing down the carnage. Just my opinion of course.

I am so envious. It sounds as though you had a lovely day.

@dunelm thats an impressive rice paper painting. I see a huge waterfalls with the sun catching the water as it cascades over the precipitous drop, excellent.

Hugs for you all with MIL hope she gets sorted quickly.

Sounds like a lot of fun yesterday with Grandchildren.

Please don't stop, you would be much missed.

Yesterday 5.4. Weight dropped to 9st 7lb - dropping quite fast since I started back classes. I think it is having to sanitise such huge hall floors. The mops are hard to push when you are using the Milton sanitiser.
I must definitely be building muscle tone - which is definitely a positive - Although do feel much more tired now at the end of the day.

Yesterday - to try and slow down weight loss I added Montezuma 100% and 30g almond butter at 10pm last night. So this morning 4.7 - which was a surprise.

Thank you. Like much just now my WOE and management of T2 is in transition. I will test once there is a point. This idea of a new normal is very wide of the mark. This is an interregnum IMHO. We will have to accommodate COVID which means being far more aware of the impact on others of our beloved freedom - which is basically little more than being totally self centred. Applied to my management of T2 via diet and exercise I'm married and need to be mindful of how my choices affect Julie - and the boys- much is left unsaid but I know. I'm also about a month off making my immediate surroundings functional. Another interregnum. One can't put the COVID, Trump, Johnson, Brexit, T2, Cancer or house renovation Genies back in their bottles. None of this is normal or remotely desirable but I don't buy the arc of history nonsense for T2 management, human behaviour or politics. Here endeth the first lesson

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, at last a National Bin day.

Note to me and me's, do not late night snack on cheese after watching a repeated episode of Spooks prior to going to bed, very interesting dreams and a 7.3 on that meter of mystery and naughtiness this morning.

Well folks I have or rather Mrs J has a busy day planned for me, I feel a rebellion brewing along with a koffy. Have a great day.
Reminder get your sprouts while you can.

4.2 this morning.

Went for a walk yesterday late afternoon as was still quite sunny and warm first walk for a few days took afew photos but batteries in camera went low charge and spares were at home so took these with I phone not too bad but second one spoiled a little by lens flare. Not sure what the little blue artifact in both photos is.

Neither of them perfect but I quite like them.

have a good day with your granddaughter ian x

Have family in Brum.
Was up there many long f-m weekends early 20's.
Even considered moving up at one point.

Remember it feeling very slow & villagey compared to London.

Yeah I know 2nd city and all..

Always took a day or two to get back to
the speed and pace of everything in London.

Doubt that gaps narrowed, and if anything widened over the years.

Agree on covid here.

It's like trying to dodge raindrops in a shower
Pretty sure that's going to change to dodging raindrops in a storm as we head in to winter ..
