Thank you @geefullgood evening all
4.8 today
so perhaps having a small amount of butternut squash is not too bad (occasionally)
Mum went to get her hair permed today and it's really cheered her up
mr gee has managed to get an appt. for tomorrow afternoon to get his hair cut
we shall be positively tidy
We have escaped the snow today and it's a whopping 9'C at the moment so that made for a nice walk round the village
Hope your day is treating you well
@dunelm - strong painting today and I love the way the marbling has given you that mysterious and misty looking background, very effective
@gennepher - lovely painting, very strong composition and sense of depth, hugs for the postponement of your adventure but I hope the appt. went well
@ianpspurs - can't say I've ever tried quark, I must have a look when we go shopping
what flavour will work? up, down, strange, charmed, bottom or top
@Muddy Cyclist - the new decal looks stylish
art bit -
yellow peony from a photo found on the net.

Brilliant plans @dunelmGood morning everyone from a quietly cautious start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of bacon and eggs and the last of the mushrooms came in at 4.8 this am
I have just seen the news - and it is bad. People, complete strangers, talking about and sporting - haircuts! Some of them even had the audacity to be sat in a seating area on pavements swigging beer and though they had not had any listed in their click and collect for a whole year. There was even some blonde guy who, on Sunday was alleged to be groomed like the scarecrow in the Gizzard of Floss but now, well, somethings change and some things stay the same.
We have the girl in the bubble today and once she has been returned to her parents we will be off over the moors to our little house on the prairie in readiness for the ninky nonks who will be collected on Wednesday. They have already made detailed menu suggestions and they have agreed that staying up late should be included in the package. So, shopping at some point today I guess - were writing a list, and checking it twice.
One man in a boat today - making something out of nothing on my backing paper - about 2 inches by 5 inches. Have a wonderful day and don’t show off about you mullet. Koffy time.

Very smart job@jjraak you asked for photos of my W on Wilfrid, here they be. Pleased with result as the Carbon Fibre catches the light in different ways, sometimes it's light and others vanishes into the smoked glass, just what I wanted, subtle. It's dads W so personal and looks like the VW sign.

Very good. Abstract Monet - lovely coloursFbg 6.8
A beautiful sunrise from my garden. I was watching it with a cuppa. Not really sure what I have recreated of it here in Procreate...
I can see a different scene now ( a fantasy scene), but I have already been playing with it for an hour, so I shall stop now.

Lots of hugs for both of you @Krystyna23040A not surprising 5.7 this morning. I was going to give myself the 'stupidest person in the world award' but in reflection perhaps it should be the 'luckiest person in the the world award '.
I was carrying too much stuff up the stairs. Lost my footing and ended up falling backwards and slamming the back of my head onto the tiled floor. A hinge from the front door cut into my scalp - from which gushed out a truly impressive amount of blood all over the hallway.
Mr K had a glass of wine earlier in the evening and his breathalyser showed he was just over the limit (it truly was Mr K and not me who drank the wine) so I ended up being transported to the Norfolk and Norwich by ambulance. Was thoroughly checked over and stitched back together and got back home at 4.30am.
Superb care from everyone who looked after me. I couldn't fault it. While I was being treated a drunken man was abusing the A&E staff in a truly horrible manner. When I left he was being escorted out by police officers.
So feel a bit battered and bruised this morning but when I looked at where I fell I feel incredibly lucky that I didn't break my neck. Mr K said that he has checked the floor and I haven't broken any tiles. That made me laugh. He was really shaken up last night so it is good we can joke about it this morning.
Thank you @gennepherLots of hugs for both of you @Krystyna23040
