Fbg 6.8

A beautiful sunrise from my garden. I was watching it with a cuppa. Not really sure what I have recreated of it here in Procreate...

I can see a different scene now ( a fantasy scene), but I have already been playing with it for an hour, so I shall stop now.

good evening all :)

4.8 today

so perhaps having a small amount of butternut squash is not too bad (occasionally :) )

Mum went to get her hair permed today and it's really cheered her up :joyful:
mr gee has managed to get an appt. for tomorrow afternoon to get his hair cut ;)

we shall be positively tidy :D

We have escaped the snow today and it's a whopping 9'C at the moment so that made for a nice walk round the village :)

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@dunelm - strong painting today and I love the way the marbling has given you that mysterious and misty looking background, very effective :)

@gennepher - lovely painting, very strong composition and sense of depth, hugs for the postponement of your adventure but I hope the appt. went well :)

@ianpspurs - can't say I've ever tried quark, I must have a look when we go shopping ;)

what flavour will work? up, down, strange, charmed, bottom or top ;)

@Muddy Cyclist - the new decal looks stylish :)

art bit -
yellow peony from a photo found on the net.

Thank you @geefull
Appointment was very tiring, but went very well.
It will be a few days to recover and plot another adventure...

I love peonies, and yours is a beautiful one.

Good morning everyone from a quietly cautious start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of bacon and eggs and the last of the mushrooms came in at 4.8 this am

I have just seen the news - and it is bad. People, complete strangers, talking about and sporting - haircuts! Some of them even had the audacity to be sat in a seating area on pavements swigging beer and though they had not had any listed in their click and collect for a whole year. There was even some blonde guy who, on Sunday was alleged to be groomed like the scarecrow in the Gizzard of Floss but now, well, somethings change and some things stay the same.

We have the girl in the bubble today and once she has been returned to her parents we will be off over the moors to our little house on the prairie in readiness for the ninky nonks who will be collected on Wednesday. They have already made detailed menu suggestions and they have agreed that staying up late should be included in the package. So, shopping at some point today I guess - were writing a list, and checking it twice.

One man in a boat today - making something out of nothing on my backing paper - about 2 inches by 5 inches. Have a wonderful day and don’t show off about you mullet. Koffy time.

Brilliant plans @dunelm
My hair is covered permanently with a hat since the last haircut I attempted...it needs to grow first...

And a great little boat on your backing paper!

A not surprising 5.7 this morning. I was going to give myself the 'stupidest person in the world award' but in reflection perhaps it should be the 'luckiest person in the the world award '.

I was carrying too much stuff up the stairs. Lost my footing and ended up falling backwards and slamming the back of my head onto the tiled floor. A hinge from the front door cut into my scalp - from which gushed out a truly impressive amount of blood all over the hallway.

Mr K had a glass of wine earlier in the evening and his breathalyser showed he was just over the limit (it truly was Mr K and not me who drank the wine) so I ended up being transported to the Norfolk and Norwich by ambulance. Was thoroughly checked over and stitched back together and got back home at 4.30am.

Superb care from everyone who looked after me. I couldn't fault it. While I was being treated a drunken man was abusing the A&E staff in a truly horrible manner. When I left he was being escorted out by police officers.

So feel a bit battered and bruised this morning but when I looked at where I fell I feel incredibly lucky that I didn't break my neck. Mr K said that he has checked the floor and I haven't broken any tiles. That made me laugh. He was really shaken up last night so it is good we can joke about it this morning.

Good morning from a bright but cold Suffolk. I still struggle to accept living in Suffolk but there are worse problems. Swipey definitely showed 4.8 as an fbg this morning. The whole what and when to eat and just what combination of metrics equals could do better but tries bless him. Based on Swipey and no obvious complications I may well be there. Hugs for the higher fbg than you want @Muddy Cyclist but Wilfrid/Wilfred looks seriously Peng. @dunelm that trip with the little Ingalis' sounds perfect. Don't forget to take goodnight Johnboy with ya. Ramadan for some members. I'm not sure if the road map allows for meet ups in time for Eid but I hope so. Take care all.

Wow. So sorry to hear about that and hope you are ok today and perhaps able to take things easy for a while - probably not in your DNA. Great thoughtfulness of you guys to check via breathalyser.

Serious stuff, broken tiles - Glad you are OK and that Mr K can relax after you are now safely home.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. I am wondering where today will take us all on our separate journeys through life as we know it.

Again a 6.5 this morning on that scheming meter of confusion.

Well fellow posters, painters and gamers, and me and me's hope you all are well including acrobats on stairs, take it easy please.
Now me and me's must go and write a paper on the function of quarks in hot dark matter. Is it's direction of spin relevant? Another question is how on earth did a Startrek character get involved in dark matter and does it really matter, but first I'd better make Mrs J's early morning tea.

Remember the stay's including stay away from politics if possible, well me and me's will anyway.

WHOA.. major hugs required

Hope you truly feel better asap
Dreadful how a moment can derail life

Also a big up to the hospital's
Personally after many years with mum n dad at A&E, I'd prosecute every low life causing disruption at hospitals
And send them the bill.!

Loving the take from both of you .
Sometimes I thinks it's the humour that's almost as important as the meds.

All Those oh so horrid "What if's" can really plague us otherwise

Take it easy
Get better soon x

Very good. Abstract Monet - lovely colours

you are spot on, @dunelm

big hugs krystyna you was so lucky xx

Marjorie reckons Roy was very free with the scissors this am as my hair has never been as short for years.

He is keen on John Wayne and the Wild West so I reckon he must be in Injun mode!
