Nope @gennepher

Tried again to copy your pic into my post ( nice pic, btw)

Do agree it adds something to the size.
Mmhh Odd.
Thanks @jjraak
I will tell you what. I will try to remember to make it about 500kb tomorrow
And if you try again you can tell me if that makes a difference...
It is also in jpeg which should make it easy for fussy sites who don't like png.
Witchery is at work again....

I have noted that at times, I hope its not getting encoded information added we dont want?
I just have to process the picture size again.
D.
Great minds think alike!
I was just thinking that same thing when I was looking for my witchery picture.

I used to do ZenBrush3 on my Apple iPad.
But nowI am using ZenBrush3 in my Android Pixel phone.
So my assumption could be that it is ZenBrush3 with/or the Android adding some sneaky little (tracking?) bits of coding to it?

MSM can't ignore it anymore .....
Going to make that a constant stinging barb in the govts side .....
Going to be interesting to watch Hancock smirk, wink & giggle his way through today's testimony.
With a majority of 80, mainly pro-Johnson press, BBC on the defensive after Bashir and no challenger in his party nothing will change. The moment has gone. As the song says, let it go, let it go. Pray/think of the families of the bereaved, keep your head down, look to your own and help the weak. Survival mode until he gets bored.

Thursday on the borderland twixt The Fens and Brecks, Suffolk, Cambs and Norfolk. Pebbles lobbed into the pond yesterday made ripples but calm as a millpond by daybreak. Swipey, an unreliable witness, reckons 4.7 for paprika (smoooked) chicken and salad. Sub-optimal but I'm thankful it is no higher. Cottage pie with celeriac topping, plucked from obscurity in a freezer, today - de-cluttering to either restock or rehome. Wonderful day yesterday @dunelm - did I miss your birthday, if so sorry. Wonderful landscape? @geefull and thanks on behalf of no 4 granddaughter who seems to have caught the Suffolk/US virus from nursery. @Krystyna23040 I do hope the BT operative lives up to their promise of no disruption. Lovely story about Popeye's girlfriend and wonderful art @gennepher. 2 little gels - cousins, obs - here today then grandson after school - borders a tad too porous?. Mary Poppins playing as I type. Enjoy your day as safely as possible.
Thanks @ianpspurs

I have just caught a photo just now of Popeye's girlfriend, on my Android Pixel phone.
The file size for this photo is under 500kb (just for info)

Hi Ian,
I am reminded of the Furies anti war song about the young dead fallen soldier of the Great War.
Some people never learn...it happened again, and again, and again!
We common people have always finished up as fodder for the machine run by the hubristic and donkeys.

She is looking at him adoringly there, and he is looking back at her...

Photo too big? It is not, or else I would not be able to post it on here @jjraak
It was only less than half a MB.
Must be something my Android Pixel phone puts on my photo or painting that stops someone else reposting?
What do you think?

Good but very moving song Derek. Hancock basically just did a victory lap with a gratuitous two finger salute to the bereaved and betrayed. No apologies, no regrets, ignore the accusations. Jenrick had made it clear what is/was coming earlier.

The BT engineer was excellent - no disruption at all. At midnight the new supersonic broadband goes live and all we have to do is plug in the new router. Hopefully we will plug in the cables in the right slots. What could possibly go wrong.

Another painting inspired by Lin Fengmian.
I was a bit more relaxed doing this one. I chilled out when doing the background before bed last night. Cat was asleep under the covers. But doing the vase and flowers and bowl this morning, I had a cat who was livelier than a cricket, and as many arms as an octopus. He was wrapping himself round my Pixel phone as I was trying to finish this. I am exhausted...

Yesterday, when I took Popeye for one of his daily walks round the garden. I don't let him out unattended because of the feral cat that attacks him, and because of his dementia, but I cannot take my eyes off him for a nanosecond because he vanishes. Yes, I have harness and lead, and I used to walk him on that, but he had always been an outdoors cat and misses it despite his dementia. So, we now have have a few walks round the garden...and he explores the undergrowth...but I blink and he is gone, then that is me exploring the undergrowth...

The back door is always open when we do this, to let fresh air in the bungalow. When Popeye is ready to come in, I then lock the back door and he goes to his fresh bowls of food I put out for him before we go for his walk.

Well, there was no food in either bowl, the biscuits and the wet food and his treats had gone. Each bowl was spanking clean, so I thought I must have forgotten to put his food out (I always put food out before we walk round the garden, thinking that he will come back in for it if I cannot find him when he has done his Houdini act, and he does...). I thought I must be getting dementia because this has happened a few times recently.

I refill his bowls and treats, and I go and lie down for a rest. I am just dozing off when I feel Popeye getting on my lap for a sleep. I am stroking him, my eyes shut. Then I feel another set of legs climb on to my legs. I open my eyes, and there is Popeye's girlfriend...

Aha, so I don't have dementia. Thank goodness. The cunning little minx has been creeping in when I walk Popeye round the back garden and stealing all his fresh food I have just put out.

So, here is my painting for today in ZenBrush3

I might do a couple of Lin's figures the next couple of days. I rather like his women figures. But I am not a figurative painter. Quick rough sketches I can do (ish), but I don't think I have tried doing figures as the main thing in the painting before. I will have a try...

Have a good day. I need a quick nap after wrestling with that cat...

Brilliant, I like those bold colours and abstract feel. Look forward to figure paintings.
