What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

This is probably a better anniversary chune - hoping repeats on Alexa may soothe the beast should Yodel lose their voice. Thanks @Krystyna23040 @dogslife and @dunelm. Wedding date chosen as it was start of half term, outside cricket season (essential) and a free week for rugby Sat and footy Sunday. Priorities. I think I've coped well, people frequently tell me so anyhow:angelic:

Can't stop my grandson talking about sport but its mainly, foot the ball. The family brought their skysport access with them, so we had to Chromecast the Man U/Liverpool game!
Horrific result for a fan like Marjorie!
Dylan was hoping Man U would demolish some of the opposition to Arsenal but it looks as if its curtains for Man U.

Good morning on a quick moving cloud morning here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of roasted belly pork with cauliflower colcannon and some home made apple sauce came in at 5.8 this am

Down to the prom yesterday so that the girl in the bubble could chat to the penguins - they are arranged near the sea wall, near the band stand. Each one has to be patted and greeted in turn - what a funny onion. A little friend dropped by to play in the garden - a second cousin - well I think that is how it goes. You can spend a fortune on toys for kids but sweeping up leaves into piles with a couple of brooms and then jumping in the piles wins the day. Dentist receptionist phoned yesterday, yet another postponement to my 6 month check up that is now turning into a game of Achilles and the Tortoise. Still, only one day delay this time - next time it will be 12 hours, and then 6 - can we sum a geometric series and end up in the chair of doom?

Art bit - spray water onto the paper and then use pure ink and a light touch - dry with an iron as you fancy and repeat a couple of times. What fun. Have an amazing bin day, best put ours out and reward my efforts with a koffy.

The penguins look forward to GIB chats...would make a nice storybook @dunelm

Like the spray water and pure ink with tall mountains. One day I will root out my iron...

Your wish is my command @dunelm

With apologies to Quentin Blake, and I thought Popeye deserved a place, here is what you asked for on my original painting, the witch and Popeye created in Procreate and digitally superimposed on my original painting.
This took me over two and a half hours to create (I drew my version of the witch). And so, in consequence, I submit it as my today's creative...inspired by @dunelm

Fabulous and all the better with Popeye in the scene. Hold on tight - it’s a windy ride

Greetings on #PreAngloAmericanbinday (for real, blud) Diabetes Massive. Windy and cool here today, described as a fresh breeze by a weather report. Not a pure fbg but straight after a spin session of an hour taking pulse rate nicely up to 150 at some stages (not even a sip of water) Tee 2 vowed and declared I was 5.4 :meh: Today is our 37th wedding anniversary, amazing where "quietly" celebrating scoring tries (3) at the rugby club leads:angelic: The helpful wife of a friend had already organised an "after party" just to help JKP.:) I played on the wing but was obviously slowed down enough to be caught (apparently dancing was involved - who knew?) all that pop in watering cans and stuff in the little glasses:angelic: Not the slightest intention of eating out. A trip to the physio will do me for excitement - unless Yodel fail to deliver then all hell may break loose. Odd events here. I found a £20 note outside, ;posted on The Close whatsapp, our nextdoor (US service family, beautiful people) neighbour also found cash - £40 - and it is also their wedding anniversary - he's on duty abroad:bigtears: Have a chune (Tunde is a real star vocalist and I lurve the intro) and do be'ave yourselves.
Happy Anniversary @ianpspurs - Congratulations to you both!

Fbg 6.2

Had to consult wildlife poo site. A different poo outside my bedroom door. Mr Fox has made a return after a few years absence. That knocks my idea of getting quail for eggs again. It was enough of a battle last time...

Creative. Sketchbook. The view to the potting shed door. Fountain pen and spray water. Posca pens for colour.

Good morning everyone on a fabulously quiet beining to the day here in the very dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of leftover colcannon with some re-fried chicken came in at 5.8 this am - don’t talk about the pudding.

Not a great deal going on yesterday in our neck of the woods. No protestors sitting in the road covered in ink, no little bloke showing off by waving a big red box about and as far as I know, the only efluent release was from our local MP. We are off the the land of Durham this evening - wedding reception. Nice to be invited, wonder what the buffet consistes of. Always a bit of a chew peeling slices of pork pie, eating the fillings from Vol-au-vents with a teaspoon, bogarding the chicken legs and generally being awkward. Might be a hot buffet though; pea and pie super, chicken in a basket (what was that all about) - but probably not.

Art bit - spray bottle and ink drips. Have a wonderful day if you can and remember that you can turn back time this weekend so Cher that arround. Time for koffy.

5.5 this morning. Off really early for my booster jab.

We had a lovely walk around the Cockley Cley Estate then lunch at The Twenty Church Wardens. We hadn't realised before that you can walk there. So we now have another place to go for a walk.

Mr K had homemade steak and mushroom pie and I had some lovely salmon. The coffee was good also.

I would like to say good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, but @SlimLizzy I feel for your loss. Very sorry.

This morning was a 5.7, me and me’s will refrain from saying anything about that meter….

Today here in Tilehurst Towers there is an expectation of total bedlam from 9:30am, it is half term and Mrs J will be in her element looking after the 4 children, 3 of which are grandchildren and the slightly older, but not wiser child…..me and me’s.
I don’t know about the budget, I do know the covid infection rates are horrific therefore please stay safe.
