What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Do you mean RH?
When you have carbs and an abnormal reaction, which is a higher spike, your body and pancreas will try and deal with the high spike, with more insulin.
That is the big D.
But if you keep getting hypo levels below 3.5 there is something akin to hypoglycaemia going on.
Excess insulin with Insulin resistance, is not recommended for anyone.

Keep an eye on it mate.

Commonly used as guard animals in my experience. Better for deterring humans rather than animals as they obviously have predators. Not especially academic but you will get the gist

7.0 which has become the norm I think.
Have had fun with #8 this morning, instead of chores.
And got me playing tag. I did catch him once or twice.
My lad was astounded at my running around.
He nearly phoned an ambulance.

Frosty out here, with the sky dominated by the lights.
Sunny but cold wind.

Cricket was a unbelievable win.
Football needs a rethink.
Darts were very enjoyable.

Damon is soaking for the weekend.

Best wishes to you lot as always.

Damon needs one of these. I assume auto-correct didn't like Gammon (could be Mammon I guess, especially if soaking in Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1945) - excellent discernment in both cases, I might add. Or perhaps one's device has AI which is sensitive to the use as an offensive description of those such as Lord Big Dave, others of the Chipping Norton set and certain politicians of a particular persuasion, by some perfidious Marxist ingrates.

Who is Damon?
Some toff defo has that name, wether Christian or not.
And anyone noticed it is first name on government forms now?
Gammon is very worthy name for ........!
I can't bring myself anymore, to mention them.
They are a farce of Brian Rix proportions.

And I must reread my posts.
And I must chide myself later for the misspelling of my weekend roast.
And I must concentrate on my duties more.

Latest end of year figures of how much the Windsor family is costing the taxpayer has now topped half a billion pounds sterling per year. This does not take account of security or army provision.
One of the richest families in the country, is now costing as much as one million of the poorest families.
This is why the UK is broken and perverse.

Well that unexpectedly turned into a debate about the Monarchy. Nought to Kemi in under five seconds . It was only Bantz, La

I'm not being Woke, but have you noticed, and it is funny, that, that them Scousers are represented as being the dregs of the earth?
And most of the comic characters are of the working class or the poor.r
there is not many rich Scousers that are proverbial laughed at.
Mollie Sugden is one, in which series?
Remember Bread?R
all on the dole Scouse scroungers?
shocking my mate!

I really do think it's time for a rethink on monarchy in this country and not France's way but either Netherlands or Sweden.

Worth a debate but timing would be completely wrong with sky high sympathy for the King and Kate just now.

It is frosty elsewhere the kingdom.
And getting darker earlier.
The outlook is wet spells and colder climes.
More horrendous in November in the States.

finished Chelsea detective.
not bad, watchable.

New series will be starting soonish.
Took advantage today of the milder weather and went down to the park more ducks on the pond and I’m sure they were watching me from behind the bushes.

Thankyou @ianpspurs
The receptionists were dealt with.
There are no other stuff at all at that so-called GP surgery on a Friday. The room at the back behind them had the lights off, there was no one working at all, apart from two geriatrics who were passing themselves as receptionists. I am not being unkind but one of them had a walker and couldn't move around without it, she can barely move around even with it. And the other had a wooden stick... Talk about running a so called GP surgery on a shoe string...

Apparently it will be on Monday when they can deal with it.

Caveat emptor

Thank you.
I thought it was updated to 2027 but I was just going by one of the reviews. So I check the specifications on Amazon ,and I looked it up, and it turns out that the particular model I've chosen by Acer is supported for 10 years from the date of issue, and the amazon description said the date of issue was 2023.

I'll check it out when it I get it, but I feel I might have done very well with it.

No stiffness in the delts for me but a definite uptick in resting pulse which may not be linked but is a suspect of interest in enquiries.
That is really interesting @ianpspurs. All went well with the jabs except that I had been puzzled that my heart rate has been much higher than usual since the jab. Hopefully it settles down quite quickly. Without my fitbit I would never have known.

How exasperating! @gennepher. It's irritating enough when one's hearing is merely impaired. I wear hearing aids both ears and have experienced a similar failing with one of my credit cards.

Friday's FBG 4.5 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.

Good morning everyone under a cloud covered sky start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this a.m. A good day out yesterday - down through the woods (photos below), along the lower prom and up the cliff steps taking in a late breakfast. A visit to the post office during the afternoon to catch the last post of the day clocked up a total of 6 miles so pleased with that. Veterans Breakfast Club this morning and also Farmers Market to browse all things farming like Korean Kimchi, Indian samosas and other locally farmed produce. It’s like those traditional Christmas markets and their Tibetan prayer bowls. I should be paid by the council as a diversity tour guide. Art bit - more koffy darling? Probably one more and then something else. Hope your day is a kind one with you in it. Best make some koffy and get moving.
