Today's daily watercolour, still on the Mill Race Path along Tising Brook with pleanty of sandstone. This is just before where the mill would have been, now a huge waterfall at the end. A4 size about 90 mins. Now off to get ready for family meal, virtual.

Good find, creativity is always great for the soul. My kids stories can be a bit on the wild side...And now for something completely different ;

Wonderful idea. Very Bright eyes - love the worm detail (?) and the Walrus and the Carpenteresque night scene with a smiling sun - or is it a moon?Good find, creativity is always great for the soul. My kids stories can be a bit on the wild side...
Here is one page from tonight family 10 page story, Super Carrot, quick scribbled art.....

Some useful information there. Thank you. Interesting point made regarding masks. For those who like stats, this is an interesting read

Thank you, all the family have to create something around the selected subject. My youngest grandaughter said Super Carrot. It's a moon, night, owl, sleeping worm, tut, tut, however the whole story is so surreal it could be the sun.Wonderful idea. Very Bright eyes - love the worm detail (?) and the Walrus and the Carpenteresque night scene with a smiling sun - or is it a moon?
Popeye sounds absolutely brilliant. I couldn't help laughing but I bet you weren't.I am not talking to the cat at the moment.
I had almost finished an email, the last paragraph to go, when he begins mithering me to go to the potting shed. I told him in a minute. So he put his paw on my iPad and sent the email and I couldn't stop it because he was in the way.
So I had to send another quick email to do the final paragraph. Popeye flicks his tail and gets off the bed.
I send the email, get off the bed, put my feet into my clogs, but one clog has warm liquid in it...
Popeye looks at me from the door with wide eyes...
I say my piece to him, but he puts his tail in the air and walks to the door to outside and looks at the Potting Shed....
He is now in the Potting Shed, but on the naughty step....alone...
I am now back in bed with clean feet, clogs are in the sink being washed.
And I am now going to finish my emails in peace, and if it is still daylight, I will take a book and a cuppa out there and join Popeye...
By the way he has an immaculately clean cat tray with brand new cat litter in it....so he was making a point....
Love that moon/sun no matter what it gives the atmosphere of this painting.good afternoon all
4.4 today
over to mum's today and mr gee did some strimming and I did some weeding so that's our outdoor exercise for today, also to top up her stack of sawdust 'logs', she likes to see the stove burning (she says it's Katy that likes it but).
Everyone seems to be feeling the effects of the 'lockdown' it is so stressful whatever we're doing, because of the risk, because of the isolation, because it's prolonged and because it's abnormal
Hugs to all of us who need one or would just plain like one
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@Alien Aspie - useful stats thank you
@dunelm - interesting
@gennepher lovely sky again, we do seem to be getting some glorious skies at the moment, don't know whether it's anything to do with the lowered pollution levels(and I wouldn't be talking to the cat either in those circumstances
)
@Muddy Cyclist looks like a lovely place for a walk/ride, I particularly like the reflections in the water(and the sleeping worm

).
Today's art catch up - supposed to be an evening sky over the sea. painted with the 'White Nights'

It was brilliant - and I learnt a lot. I was worried before I started that it would go wrong because it was the first time I had used Zoom - but all went really well. That sounds brilliant @Krystyna23040
Congratulations
Yes, he definitely does.He knows how to make a point...
Sharing one of my favourite TED talks
Right..well ,errr.
so i like the teds
always some brilliant ones on there, showing me new stuff i never even knew, other were talking about
but THIS is..OMG
ok, simple stuff
my responses may jar, but they are what they are..soz
so i was ready for bed, and then watched THIS.
aggghhhh..
now i am looking at the bed, wondering it it exists..
OMG.. do i exist
**** if this is so ..i pray i am keanu reeves (please let it be so )
or are you Morpheus,,in fact are we all Morpheus
or all Mr smith...:***::***::***::***::***:
any way, while i leave you all with THAT thought.
Pretty sure I ain't the only one going ...yeah, dude
like your some kind of..
(which we all know you are certainly NOT, massive respect as you know )
yet the post makes me quake with.. 'what if'
i have been educated by that, so thank you.
i would never have found that or watched if it wasn't from some one on here who i trust ,
who is also on this T2D journey.
Which has brought me to the many who reject the govt speak,
and righteously challenge the status quo,
That the authorities ALWAYS know best regardless of the data,
we all know about T2D,
govt data so out of step with the actual disease.
yet some of those who know that.., say GOV'T KNOWS best..***
"the govt always knows best so shut up and be quiet,
do NOT challenge..."
how sad i feel that they will be the same ones saying
"Don't trust the govt, T2D can be controlled.."
am i wrong to think MY reality is real..No idea.
but is the govt perfect..NO way
at a much lower level...
i did have this described to me as to how the eyes thinks..(yeah i know)
but it does link ever so 'Slightly' ....ok..just as smidgen, but hey work with me dude..:***:
and it says the vision we have, we make up a good bit of it..
it's why i sweep left and right and up and down when on the bike.
mainly when filtering, and at all speeds really
but intensely at 80-120 (on private grounds obv)
been lucky so far, buy many aren't
and this is why i do it.
we all make our own reality.
now as far reaching as yours is, this is a far cry from it
...but hey, i have only just begun the journey into the matrix, as i am
aware..
though i may even be in a pod as we speak..(TRINITY..come get ME..aaghhh )
