You are welcome!

I find when I overthink it, it doesn’t go quite right for me!

That is brilliant what you did. I cannot get the curl of the petals with my fingers yet!
I found that the ink on Std and the pressure set on very low worked quite well for this one. I get the feeling that the pressure setting needs adjusting depending upon what effect I am trying for. Must have a play with the paper choices though.

Good morning everyone from an overcast start at our little house on the prairie in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of sliced meatloaf screaming ‘bat out of hell is bad for your health in Hunan” came in at 5,2 this am.

Meditations - Thirty minutes this morning, taking advantage of the silence, just laid on the floor, head on a cushion, eyes closed, ticking clock consigned to the fridge for the duration. Then:

Such a wonderful find - a brand new cafetière and a fresh can of Illy classico to start the day. I like to get a can of Illy koffy every now and again. Decent koffy and the can makes for decanting those bags of koffy from supermarkets and sometimes those posh koffy roasting emporia that are now starting to reopen.

I decided to fiddle about a bit more with my chrysanthemum (there you go, got the spelling right this time).

Have a wonderful day, you know it makes sense. Must plunge this koffy.

Only one word for this...Brilliant!!!

You have got the shading of the leaves just right, the curl of the petals...you’ve got it all.
:)

My painting in ZenBrush2 this morning on my iPhone.

I hurt my wrist in the night getting it of bed. My hand palm bent right forwards to my wrist. I thought I had irreplaceably damaged it. It was painful. Witch hazel liberally applied. Then a cream analgesic a bit later. I have now put a wrist support on it so I cannot bend it too much accidentally.

So I decided the twisty bendy plum tree and blossom might be the best bet this morning. Because there is not so much control in my right hand this morning.

Little finger wasn’t obliging in painting strokes this morning. It wasn’t painful, it just couldn’t do it. So, first finger had to do the painting.

This will be a quickie I thought. No chance. The whole thing has taken me just over an hour. I was totally engrossed in it. I just went for it, completely out of my head, imagining I was in Cathy Wu’s Calligraphy class in the 1990’s, with her berating us in Chinese (well I am not sure what she was berating us in because I asked the Chinese person next to me what Cathy Wu was saying, and she told me she had no idea, I was the only non Chinese person in that class)

My hand and wrist did not hurt at all during that hour it took. I was completely engrossed. It blinking hurts now though!!!!!

Now that is very good. I like the way that you have depicted the wonderful limbs of the plum tree and the delicate placing of the blossoms. Very spring. Sorry about your hand - ouch! Hope the embrocations have helped.

I was playing with the pressure settings, but I couldn’t tell the difference. I will have another go now you’ve said this @dunelm

Nice fiddling zen master.

Liked the clock in the fridge bit, ours won't fit as it's my grandfathers wooden Victorian wall clock, having said that I find it's beat quite therapeutic along with its weekly windup useing keys used by my great grandfather, grandfather and my father.

Excellently done and good you were so distracted from the pain of your wrist whilst being creative. I hope your pain subsides and wrist is not too damaged.

Thanks. We are at our little house on the prairie for the weekend so no fancy clocks - Chest freezer’s work for large clocks.

Thank you very much @Muddy Cyclist for the painting compliment.

I am assuming I have just over-stretched or strained my ligaments or tendons. So, more stuff on it today, And some hand exercises. Which I am doing now while dictating this!

Thank you.

Good morning all whatever sized dwelling you currently inhabit and wherever your clocks happen to be. Libre came over all Janice Nicholls and said I'll give it 5. :meh: For some reason my body now feels I need to weigh 75 kgs not the 73 I want. First world problems and all that - if I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor - style of thing. I hope the black fog/dog clears for all who are suffering and do suffer. Enjoy you koffy @dunelm; hope the wrist improves @gennepher and doesn't spoil your day; great new normal for Norfolk @Krystyna23040 - apparently we may have a family outing/convoy to Holkham beach on the morrow - meh.

Are dogs allowed on parkland? *I need to be back in time for tea (football actually, unless mobile signal is good. Any idea how good it is there?). Oh no, 25 miles to nearest Waitrose and nearest Starbuck's in King's Lynn 45kms.:angelic:
Googled that.

That there internet is wonderful as an echo chamber, confirming all my biases. The aforementioned 75 kgs are, in my mind, related to taking multivits, iron and natto k. Seek and ye shall find https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3932423/#:~:text=While vitamins are an important, become toxic at high concentrations. Now all I need is a woe that delivers nutes and vits Mayhap I should just settle for 74 kgs and rickets :angelic:

Another fullish day here.
I need my sensible head on today, I think I left it in a box at the back of the top shed many years ago.
Have a great day.

football, both the game and the culture.
Followed neighbours advice for an easier ride to town. Turn right out of gate, not left, wheeeee down long steep hill, climb up not so thrilling, but manageable. Turn onto familiar lane and slog three quarters of the way up another hill before I realise this is not the road I want. It's going to the wrong town. o_O
Google maps to the rescue.
