Sorry for keeping disappearing!

Woke to 6.1 this morning at 5:30 but by breakfast an hour later had fallen to 4.2, shaky and vision starting to play up so had 2 gluco tabs and reduced bolus for breakfast, finally feeling a bit more human/normal now, its horrible how simple everyday things turn into difficult tasks when your low! Certainly a day I wish there was someone to get breakfast for me lol
xx

Mr K is very pleased to become an honorary member and has vowed to diligently continue with your work of international importance.

l will definitely support him in every way possible while he is involved in this vital work as long as long as it doesn't interfere with my work of extensively testing Montezuma 's 100% chocolate and Nespresso coffee
Well, I suppose deals with compromises are in vogue. Nespresso is acceptable but Montezuma's is a difficult sell politically for me. Oh well, if its for the greater good and gets the deal over the line - just don't wave that stuff in our faces:angelic:

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who dare to brave the big outside today.

Hmmmm an 8.9 on that meter of mystery and naughtiness this morning, I might have to drink strong koffy, yes,yes I know it won't do any good, but it will make me feel better.

Me and me's shall be unsupervised for the middle part day, while Mrs J goes to visit her parents grave, the unsupervised time shall be spent Christmas decoration swapping round, provided her tasks list is not to arduous, if it is then it could well be lost hehehehe.

Well fellow posters, painters and gamers have a great day and hugs if you can't.

Oh look it's Monday!

A nice 5.4 to start the week that I know will go downhill by Friday due to the mysterious rules of T2. However, we play the game of life with the cards that happenstance lays at our door ;)

Today is also ECG day and then take her ladyship shopping. On Wed I have to traipse around the Midlands delivering gifts to her friends, and all-day excursion of delight. This poor old body can only withstand so much joy in one week ;)

Not exactly another day in paradise for many of us. @Alien Aspie hug for the rigours of the regime Her Ladyship imposes but massive winner for "we play the game of life with the cards that happenstance lays at our door" @Muddy Cyclist thank you for the feedback about the poems and I'm so glad it helps you spiritually. I'm not totlly convinced Mr Guite had that use of spirituality in mind when writing the book. @kaylz91 you are under no obligation to report in here. Visiting here as and when life allows is our blessing not your duty. @karen8967 lovely fbg and I swear down that meme is well peng, blud. @RFSMarch fantastic to see you here and your SMART objectives seem very on point to this dullard. @alf_Josiah you are, well, alf_Josiah. My fbg? A Malbec and Courvoisier inspired 5.2 on the delinquent Swipey @ 6.26. The waking was aberrant in a good way. The fbg is sub-optimal IMHO but I've no idea what optimal is for me or what aberrant looks like via Swipey - apparently we are on Swipey V3. Anyone use anything above Pre-Cambrian version?

good evening all :)

4.4 this morning

another Sunday lunch at mum's, had to turn my pudding into something else today, I was aiming for gooseberry fool with some gooseberry puree from the freezer, I hadn't enough double cream left so I made it into a sort of fruit custard and served it over spiced lemon sponge, worked ok :D

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@dogslife - hugs, that's bad news :( I hope that things go well for your mum and the other residents.

@Muddy Cyclist - Hope the next appointment comes through quickly.

your Christmas cards are lovely and very effective, I like their strong graphical quality :)

@gennepher - very fine stroke work there @gennepher and Popeye looks contented :joyful:

@dunelm - another fine sketch, the foreground has given it a nice sense of scale against the rocks.

@SilverK - lovely jewellery with strong design :) very much to my taste

art bit -
an abstract seascape - every now and again I get the urge to splosh colour about :hilarious:

View attachment 46241
Thank you @geefull - stunning colour splosh of a sky - nice detail with the land

According to that edited quote of my post you were remade in 2016. Shouldn't you be selling that story and allowing Mr K to live a life of leisure and pleasure? Fi on you, very, young lady

Charlie and Lola would just leap over it as they are so athletic.
spot on Krystyna they'd be over it like a shot...the bedroom door has to stay firmly closed...Charlie has ruined two of my best feather & down duvets so far...for some reason he commits unspeakable 'crimes' on them so he's excluded.

Happy birthday Mr D. I'm sure he is well aware just what a good 'un he found but no harm in a reminder now and then.

Lost my test meter in July. Too mean to buy a replacement. Found it yesterday.
After cases of beer and too much cheer..........9.1 mmo/lt at 0600 just now.
There is a Neil Diamond lyric that comes to mind. "Hello (again)"
@True Blue Welcome back

5.5 ↗️
Getting back on the horse slowly. Did not sleep
Much last night (or indeed any night since the demo rejection) and it is very hard to have any motivation for anything.

Setting myself one task a day to do and if I get more done then that is a bonus.

Today it is getting my self-assessment questionnaire done for the accountants and some other company admin done.

Hope everyone else has better, more
Productive days.
That's not an easy task you have set yourself, should keep you occupied for a while. Happy hunting for relevant paperwork.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of some expertly foraged 28 day hung steaks with some late found ceps came in at 4.6 this am

Lots to catch up on today. @lindisfel, glad that you are feeling better and a happy birthday to Mr D @dogslife. Good to see @True Blue hugs and cheers for climbing back on that horse @RFSMarch. @alf_Josiah and @kaylz91 take care on that rollercoaster and hugs to @Alien Aspie for the trials and current bleakness dealt from that miserable happenstance. Rumours of secret sipping has now reached cabinet level so I hope that someone has brought a screwdriver or at least some french polish - you know who you are.
@gennepher - cool cat - lovely fresh feeling to your art but those woods are deep so stay in the sparkles.

I am currently trying to find out just how long, in real terms, that extra mile being bandied about actually is and whether it is being measured using the avoirdupois, the Troy or if saddles have to be held during weigh ins. My guess is that someone will ask about a furrow length and the French will go all metric.
Youngest grandchild has just be ceremoniously dropped off while her mother goes off for a socially distanced blue rinse and perm - it’s all the rage.
I am off to the GP surgery in a while - seems that us miscreants on the PPG are being given a card and a gift - wonder if it’s in the form of a jab - or a jabberty jab and Terry Wogan would have said.
Todays picture is from another photo - this time the west ridge (Iron way) of the Marmalada in The Dolomites - a great place for walking and climbing and not a bad area to go hurtling round on a motorcyle (nice to do when your body refuses to be dragging a rope up a chunk of rock any more).
Happy Monday everyone, another koffy and then out.

7.45am FBG 5.4 Very pleased with that two days in a row.
Back to home cooking might be helping?
Now if all the chocolate, biscuits and puddings in the world do not materialise inside my orbit all will continue to be well.
@ianpspurs Am enjoying the poems and writings.
@gennepher @Muddy Cyclist @geefull @Alien Aspie @dunelm Do enjoy the daily paintings, even if comments are rare.
@SilverK pretty earrings. Just the sort of thing I used to wear. Now I have a favourite pair, given to me by my brother and rarely change from those.

Luckily all my stuff is online with an e-accountant and I keep track of bank interest (which let’s face it is now as rare as rocking horse poop) but it is spreadsheet juggling with the rent received from cave dwellers past and present and late mum’s bungalow that is challenging. Trying to whittle down my master spreadsheet to this tax year resulted in a lot of earthy Anglo-Saxon trying to remember my spreadsheet skills!

I have more trouble with the monthly-ish bank statement reconciliation to be fair. It is like I have never worked in technology and all the canny tips and tricks dribble out of my brain after each one so I have given up and I usually call them and have them go through it with me every time!

Morning...struggled this morning to get ready for my clinic appointment got to the point where I'm far too comfortable to stay at home...so tempted to remain here but I expect my INR levels are all over the place with the cold & the meds I'm taking to alleviate that...so I am going I also have to deliver a large pot of sweeties to the staff that needs to be done before Christmas...I am ready so may go early & drive slowly just to make sure I don't weaken & stay at home lat the last minute...still no FBG full of sugar from the meds will start again next week...keep safe everyone.

Just phoned to request a call back from my GP. The “ask my GP” online service was full by 10am and I feel bad for phoning but the pain and lack of sleep (and possibly the medication) has finally got to me and is making me cry. For the first time in fifteen months. The blood tests last week didn’t show any reason for the pain but I can’t just put it down to “Chronic Pain Syndrome” and let it go. The pain seems to be getting worse, not better.
Not expecting much help from the GP. My surgery doesn’t have a great track record. Even if they order more blood tests, they have to be booked and I think the next available dates are late January. I’m determined to go back to work for the start of the new term but right now I don’t know how I’m going to manage that.
The pain/tiredness/stress is putting my blood sugar up. 8s and 9s instead of 5s and 6s. Still in range but it’s not easy to keep it there when I’m finding it so hard to walk.
