What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.5

This was meant to be a tree and leaves etc.
But I am tired because my eyes are itchy and have Hayfever..
I gave up reality. A digital painting in Procreate.
Now for some Optrex eye baths...

Great collaborative art project but hug for hay fever. I'm realising what a pain that is now I'm in alien land. 25 miles from homeland but so different.

This longish explanation of the P:E diet looks beguilingly persuasive but then fat is your friend puff pieces did back in the day. Does all seem to be a coin toss and deep in the realms of alternative "facts". There really is "a science" for everyone and every use. I blanched at avoid avocados which seem to be spiffing for fibre and potassium. I was always going to be convinced by a WOE with salmon as a poster food.

I like some of the phrases; - energy toxicity - really?, and some of the commonly used words; Trifecta - wow - a bet about three something or others to win - why did I need to look it up bud.

Ah, but there are moving graphics, colours, numbers, percentages and formulae. Whoever paid for the endorsement and the original scientific backing is happy enough. Scientists need to eat so people pay them to "prove/disprove" anything they need "proving/disproving" I like salmon and 0% Fage yogurt so what can I say? I'm following the science. If this one doesn't work I'll get another one;)

Ahh, yes scientists are as a breed the most argumentative set of beings that ever set foot on earth, the interesting thing is they converse in the language of mathematics, very rarely do they ever agree on anything.

The interesting thing is without scientists we wouldn't have pencils for word merchants to write and paper to write on.
If you can find one of these endangered species and pay him / her they will prove your particular point, the starting assumptions may be flawed, but it will look good in the eyes of the paymaster.
The media are experts in this particular practice, hence why me and me's don't trust them, this is my point in this reply.

Now please let me get back to working on my quantum physma plasics.

Who or what created the minds to manipulate symbols internally or externally and the raw materials to make writing materials? Start again.

Well it wasn’t me - and you can’t prove it.
Can you prove I can't prove it? Just in case I've paid a scientist and mathematician to say I'm right. They'll even work it all out in pencil - including how many angels can dance on a pinhead. Job done. I'm through to the next round, innit. Astronomers away in Rome, Saturday at 20.00 hrs. They beat the lions 2-1 - bit of shock that one.

"Further studies are needed." Well, of course they are. Those holidays, cars and that fine wine won't pay for themselves.
19 subjects though and all with their eyes poked out to make them double blind - it’s massive - and full of germaloids (I think that’s what it says).

good evening all :)

4.6 today

shopping day amid the precipitous rise in covid cases ;) out early as usual and even managed to fit in a trip to the recycling depot with the defunct breadmaker :D
Mum's shopping delivered and home for a late lunch and a quiet afternoon just as the bin men trundled up to empty the blue bin :)

Misty and drizzly morning early here followed by a sunny afternoon so I think we will need to water the plants in pots this evening.

Hope your day is treating you kindly :)

@Krystyna23040 - nice that the PE diet seems to be suiting you so well :)

@dunelm - splendid landscape today with real scale and I like the subtle colour you added and the texture the rice paper has :joyful:

@gennepher - hugs for the hay fever, it's not pleasant having that background irritation all day :sorry:
a fine, interesting and colossal scaled landscape painted for you and Popeye to navigate today :)

art bit - thank you for the suggestions for ways of cropping
this works a bit better I think ;)

7.25am FBG 5.7

Decided to reverse the usual order of tasks and started on ratatouille for tonight's dinner and coleslaw for lunch.

The PE diet sounds a similar theory to one i found some time ago, which stated that slim diabetics don't neccessarily need more fat, they often need a bit more protein. After reading that I added two eggs to my breakfast and achieved a much better level of weight control. Strangely i only found the article that once. So could never link it.

Still have not repaired damage to stairwell, but have now got clothes upstairs. Baby steps. This afternoon we both heard a hoopoe, very exciting and later oin the evening saw two stag beetles in flight, one landed on my leg, fortunately covered in denim. Very impressive insects. Very noisy in flight too.
