What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Yes, those targets are far too challenging. I'm unlikely to ever reach 165-170 gms protein per day - just how much Fage 0%, chicken or salmon would that take? £s would also be an issue. I like your idea of a relaxed PE approach. Best I can do is something like the attached. 80 gms fat from 3 tbls EVO , 60 gms flaxseed and 30 mls double cream in coffee. Do I really want or need to bin those?
I agree that it would be absolutely impossible to eat that amount of protein a day. Luckily my target is only 126 - but I don't reach that either, even though I do add protein powder.
I definitely don't think you need to bin anything. Actually, I do remember reading that Ted Naiman said you only have to go easier on the foods containing more fat if you have a lot of weight to lose - which I don't think you do have.

Thanks @Krystyna23040. I do often feel as though I need to shed pounds but that's just me. I don't know about protein but if I eat what I entered into Cronometer today I will hit targets I have never hit - with the help of Nutrialign vits. Takes a whopping 2144 cals.
Edit: Can hit all but Vit C (74%) without Nutrialign -:woot:

What I would like your help with, if you would be so kind, is could you write down some questions I need to ask when I in next week, like..
Is it safe to have the 2nd jab more than 5 months after the first...
Do I need two jabs again because it has been so long from the first so the second jab will be ineffective...

What a muddle @gennepher

I'd say definitely ask questions.

Yours were good ones

I might add,
What is the estimated time to kick in.

And what length/level of protection would they predict.

Can I expect any raised reactions due to the above.

(Assuming they are at a level where they CAN answer any of the questions AND assuming it's any different, due to time from 1st jab )

I use the Zoe app to relay our status each day
They do have an email for users with other question NOT in the FAQ list.

Which yours isn't

Pretty sure it's open to non users, if you are not one.

Address is
[email protected]

Help slow the spread of #COVID19 and identify at risk cases sooner by self-reporting your symptoms daily, even if you feel well . Download the app https://covid.joinzoe.com/

Major hugs to you for the worries
And a gentle paw tap, for Popeye.x

Hope the cool of the evening brings him more back to himself.

I think @gennepher and you between you have probably got a good list and any more would probably cause a mind to explode. Hopefully the people that you encounter @gennepher will think about communications. Hope that Popeye is having a better day.

The PE diet sounds a similar theory to one i found some time ago, which stated that slim diabetics don't neccessarily need more fat, they often need a bit more protein. After reading that I added two eggs to my breakfast and achieved a much better level of weight control. Strangely i only found the article that once. So could never link it.
That's really interesting. Often new ideas are not actually new - just been forgotten until someone 'discovers ' them again. I have also added 2 eggs a day and it has definitely helped.

Daughter, who is very fit and active, cut down on meat for a while for environmental reasons but had to go back on meat because she began losing her normal strength and energy.

Good afternoon everyone and despite the outage on the forum and the afternoon time frame, I can at least remember that my fasting reading this morning at about 6am was 5.4.

We are off over to our little house on the prairie later this afternoon - we have been promised some thundery showers over the weekend but those blind assassins at Aunty said all that last weekend and nothing. Is this just another Covid cover up and an attempt to keep us at home - stay indoors, open your brolly, prolapse the NHS.
In other news - I can’t bring myself to like that Dianna statue. In fact, I think it pretty awful. Wonder how much they paid for it - is there a returns policy?
And now for something completely different - faffing about with a feather - brushes are so last year. Anyhow, enjoy the rest of your day. I am koffy’d out so am drinking camomile tea with ACV sploshed in and a drab of lemon juice.

Sorry I have not been on, but I kept getting server error each time I tried to come into the site yesterday afternoon, and during the night, and today. I tried to post my enquiry, and it wouldn't post, and then I got server error for the site, try later.

This has gone on for 24 hours...

I can now see my enquiry post got posted...

I will go and make a cup of tea and come back and look in.

EDIT How many times did that post, post itself?
I will delete the extras now...

I have now deleted four of those duplicate posts.
I was upset I couldn't get on to talk about it. I wanted to hear/see your advice.

Did anyone else get this server error? And not be able to come on the site for 24 hours?

I would guess any jab is better than no jab, with all my complicated conditons ALL the doctors say get the jab. As you are well aware me and me's are no friends of sanity, but I would guess the advice given to me is good for you.

Sorry to read about your cat Popeye hope he makes a swift recovery.
Thanks @alf_Josiah
The letter and site was really confusing.
Popeye is sleeping on my lap now.

Thanks @jjraak
I don't get why, after their paper checks and couple of computer checks and entries when I had the first jab, and I have the card they gave me to me when I had the first jab, that they now have no record of me having that jab.

(Aagh, this site has just got me checking bicycles for Capitcha...I thought the site had gone down again and I was being locked out again...)

Now I have lost the second paragraph I just wrote. This Capitcha thing coming up has just wiped it out...
I can't remember what I wrote now.

Everything noted @jjraak
Thank you.

EDIT Popeye is sleeping now thanks.

Ah now I remember what I wrote that Capitcha just wiped out. Why was there this implication that the first and second jabs are different. I need to know that too...because it said on the booking form that I couldn't attend if it was a second jab, which is why I managed to alter it that it was a second jab and sign some online stuff. That bit might not get through to the people at the vaccination centre by next week, or they might not read it. All this is worrying me, and I want it written down.

I have got too much I need to say and ask @dunelm
It needs to be written in a few bullet points, otherwise (you are right), their minds would explode...
Popeye is sleeping now, breathing better, thank you.

Yes, I got it Gennepher. I think there was a gremlin in the machine?
Hope you get sorted and Popeye picksup.
