What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I have written something to hand to the nurse at the rainbow hospital next week. It is not much, but it took me all day to write.
A little feedback would be appreciated thank you. An emojie will be great if you think it is okay and does the job. Or is there anything that needs making clearer or added to?

1. I had my first Pfizer Covid jab on Feb 8th 2021 at ________

The invite was by SMS text message.

I have my vaccination card here.

2. This will be my 2nd jab.

Will it be Pfizer?

Is it safe for me to have the 2nd jab after 5 months?

How effective will it be?

3 I was waiting to be invited for my 2nd jab. The only communication I have received was this letter dated 28/06/21. It seems there is no record of me having my 1st jab. How do I make sure my NHS vaccination records are correct with the 8th Feb jab and this one? Will you help with that?

I can do yes or no when people are behind a mask (because people will do the head nod or shake), but anything that resembles a conversation of information or enquiry I am unable to do because of my deafness...
Yes @gennepher that is excellent. You have covered everything in a very clear and concise way.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

A 6.3 this morning on the unmentionable meter.

@gennepher spot on with the @dunelm addition.

Me and me's do a little woodworking and making all sorts of things. Attached is a picture of a chair and table I made some years ago and the child has out grown it so it was returned to me and I have passed it on to a friend for when their grandchild visits. All it needed was a fresh coat of paint.

If you are wondering I make children's outdoor garden toys, also garden planters. I never charge, but sometimes ask for the material costs, if I get asked to make something I don't want to make I pass the commission on to a wood working friend who is known as " Dave the Fence ". He charges a token amount.

Stay well, stay safe, stay apart and above all stay away from the media.

Thanks @alf_Josiah
That was an absolutely perfect paragraph by @dunelm
And I shall be using it in other situations..
Collaboration is good on this thread.

Your children's toys and garden stuff are brilliant!

Seems like one happy little customer, @alf_Josiah

Nice work :)

No morning FBG

Up and had some chicken from yesterday, before I even thought of it :banghead:

Anyhoo..Madame doggie sitting last night.
So a free TV to watch the football, without discussing every aspect of her life ever since she was born (. ;):bag:)...kidding, miss her ...honest :wacky:

Anyway, came across a few food sites that offered some interesting meals/snacks.

the chicken last night was one such.
Basically fillet cut up, bashed to make thin, think thick rashers of bacon spiced up, with mayo & sriracha sauce as a dip....deliciousness.

not the world's best cook, but I'll give anything a go

Girls like my cooking so maybe I'm not as shabby as I think.

However since DX I am coming to a new world of foods I rarely gave a passing glance.

Aubergine being one

This lady made me think about them, so today I've been mainly copying her spaghetti recipe with courghetti,

And done the 4th dish with crispy bacon and some salad,
Going to bulk out with some lamb koftas

Off to meet Madame, and have dinner with her,
Ala deliveroo...aka Moi...:D

Review later, just thought I'd share

No @ianpspurs I completely forgot it was my birthday today, and I had spent 3 hours on the background of this, and then I did this to it...
Thanks...

I hear that Genn

Forgot or wanted to forget. .;)

Ever since the fire brigade turned up to put out my 50th candies, I've been trying to forget everyone of them since. ;):hilarious::hilarious:

Well done Popeye, a lovely painting for a lovely mummy :)

Well...I just forgot about it @jjraak
How many birthdays do I need...
Meeeooow says Popeye....

Good Afternoon @gennepher , happy birfday, I have to do some more plinky plonky practice today ( keyboard ), therefore I shall play happy birthday for you, just be grateful you are far enough away from Tilehurst Towers not to see the effects of my rendition.

Hand and footnote, my long suffering neighbours wish they or me and me's were far enough away.

Thank you very much @alf_Josiah
I very much appreciate your keyboard playing....

good evening all :)

4.7 yesterday and 4.6 today

sunday again so a roast beef dinner was on the menu today ;)

We were originally going to barbeque but it's rained on and off all day.

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@gennepher - especially your good self, Many Happy Returns of the day :joyful:

I approve of Popeye's celebration and I do like the colour palette on yesterday's painting, though the crows look quizzical I can see the historic resemblance to the 'plague doctor' masks though thankfully Popeye looks suitably unfazed :)

With a little help from your friend your notes are clear and concise and hopefully you will get the help you wish for when you go for your 2nd jab :)

@ianpspurs - I'm with @SlimLizzy ;) that number is coming up for me in a few months too :D

@alf_Josiah - nice! :)

@dunelm - I like your procreate sketches, the first of the tree is nicely stylised and the colour you have blushed into the background is very effective :) and as ever your rock ridge has a fine sense of scale to it :joyful:

art bit -
thank you for your kind comments on my waterfall painting, it was based on a photo I saw online. We've had some nice evening skies this year. Used a little resist for the flowers in the foreground, painted on Fabriano studio I think ;)
