Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen from Tilehurst Towers at the fore front of domestication.

A 5.3 on that scheming meter of deception and mystery.

Like @lindisfel I am struggling with this new fangled technology, in the last few months I have been forced to get a new telephonic communicator and am just beginning to look for a replacement tablet, deep joy, android or apple, not a debate for here I hope, I have 2 experts advising me and me's, or to put it politely wasting their breath.

Well fellow posters, painters and gamers domestic chores beckon.

Stay safe.

Sleepless night.
My tinnitus took a bad turn, and kept me wide awake.
I seem to be getting a few firsts with my tinnitus at the moment.
It was a cacophony of monks voices (no music), chanting in Latin (?). And different sections of the Tinnitus Choir singing low, then another section with rising voices. A few minutes is fine, but not 8 full hours nonstop. The Tinnitus Monk Choir stopped singing when it got light. And my tinnitus decided to scream full blast from my left ear resounding round my head...
Cat is exhausted as well, because he was trying everything he could to help me, because he could tell I was distressed.

I am going out in the garden in a minute, and I hope that AH neighbour doesn't arrive early and starts his industrial sounding machinery...

Kaleidoscope today. This was from a painting I did a few years ago. I made some alcohol inks with food colouring and isopropyl alcohol. It was very successful and fun to do, but nearly 3 years later I have a whole pile of paintings stacked between blotting paper in the garage because they never dried. You can pick the paintings up today and your hand is covered in that indelible food colouring...

Sigh...

But they are useful for taking photographs of and then playing with them digitally, or making kaleidoscopes as I have done today...

So sorry that your tinnitus stopped you sleeping last night. Hope you can catch up today. Your pictures are brilliant.

I must try harder to build in relaxation time. As I wrote this the saying popped into my head 'you can't teach an old dog new tricks '.
Yes I think you can @Krystyna23040 if the 'old dog' is you...
That phrase only applies when trying to change another...

You learn plenty of new tricks for your pilates and both Mr K and myself would have our seconds call upon any brigand who besmirched your honour by uttering the first part.

Tumbleweed blows down main street and in the distance a coyote howls. Meanwhile in Suffolk a Swipey feels that 6.2 is a wizard wheeze, jolly jape or just harmless joshing for 16 gms carbs yesterday. Of course I'll never know what the much maligned eatwell plate would produce, partly because that was never my idea of good food anyhow. Just now Elsie appears to be as useful as UselessMcUselessface but I've put all my chips on her. Grandson out of hospital but still not breathing easily. MIL being "weaned" off oxygen. Obviously reasons to heartily thank God. Horrendous day for Julie yesterday. Two other issues which are ongoing but not for here. Am I being hypercritical in expecting Elsie to deal better with all that and this virus? All the hype surrounding her seems a tad overdone - doesn't even taste that good. It is good for me that I have been in trouble that I may learn thy statutes. (Psalm 119 V 71) - boy do I wish I wasn't such a dullard. Extra tuition is grating on me about now. I need more Assam and fast.

Good morning everyone from a sleep deprived start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of chicken with mushrooms and a dollop of dullards delight came in at 5.4 this am

Girl in the bubble decided that only half a night’s sleep was necessary and promptly woke the street on the strike of three. Mrs Miggins took her back to bed at six and they are both zonked out, for how long though is anyones guess. Still, it all sounds so peaceful after the 3am rendition from the Carnival of Animals. NI contributions are raising their heads over the parapet of “there be pensioners” - sounds like Richy Richmond is scrabbling about looking under rocks and in hard places. Wonder what would happen if the Woke brigade actually went to work? Still, the sun will still shine but perhaps not as brightly.

Art bit - just a branch today - hard times - well, working on that daft idea of a wedding gift that my inner chimp came up with - Have a peaceful Sunday - unless of course your desire is to go all out Rage Against The Machine - but I shall have koffy.

Hug for early waking but winner for the art and philosophical outlook. Dullards Delight? I've acquired part one. Most of the Woke Brigade I know have two jobs and a massive input from the banks of two mums and two dads despite all the degrees in the world but ymmv.

I am glad some things are improving @ianpspurs
The rest of the stuff will improve in its own good time.
In the meantime some positive vibes and love your way...

Fbg 7.6

I was that tired yesterday I was neither use nor ornament.
And I nibbled too much hence the rise in fbg. I could neither relax nor sleep.
I was up at 3 am too, but that is a normal occurrence for me.
I got 3 hours sleep. Not enough, but better than yesterday.

I opened the back door yesterday morning, and the little stray all black cat rushed in (what?). He/she (I think a she, I'll have to give it a name) rushed to my bedroom and dived into Popeye's bowl of wet food, and was gobbling it up as if it were starving. Popeye woke up, began growling, so instead of shooing the little black cat away I held on to Popeye while the little black cat furiously ate, cleaned the bowl and shot outside. I released Popeye who had naughty words to say to me.

It must have been in before when the back door was open to know the food was there. I had seen a black shadow from time to time when I looked near the floor, and told myself to stop imagining things. But it was that little black cat sneaking in...

Okay, I will call it Shadow for the moment.

A few times recently I heard a scream which appeared to come from a cat. And twice, this little black cat, Shadow, had shot into my garden all alarmed and with a bottle brush tail. The first time I heard a man's laugh, and Shadow shot into my front garden, all alarmed and scared and bottle brush tail. I went out in the road but no one there, nor any moving car. But Shadow had come from the direction of AH neighbour. The second time I heard a cat scream and Shadow shot into my back garden (from AH neighbour's back garden all scared and bottle brush tail again. I could hear AH over the fence.). Shadow the past weeks/month or so has always been a timid cat slinking around and has never approached me before.

I don't know what is going on. I have never seen Shadow fight, She always runs or hides. But stays in my garden when the other 3 regular strays are around. So they all get on.

In Snapseed and Procreate this morning, the solar 'eye' and reflections again photographed in the early hours. I played with it in Snapseed until the iPad battery 'died'...so that became my finished pic when the iPad charged up again.

Sun is out, going out in a mo to look what is going on outside. Two male blackbirds have been fighting...

Snap - 6.2 for me also which was caused by a massive (for me) 39g yesterday. Mostly comprising of Mr K's chocolate. I did have the forlorn hope that maybe my pancreas can now cope with more than 20g - but obviously not.

Really good news that grandson and MIL are on the road to recovery.

It is annoying that our fbs go up immediately we nibble too much.
Hope AH neighbour isn't hurting the little cat Shadow.
