You urgently need a plan B if that was plan A but good to hear/here there and everywhere (some Fab 4 songs were vaguely bearable) from you again.I’m going to find someone puritanical and ruin their day by making them smile.
Ahh, pre Sgt Peppers the fab 4 + 1 George Martin were not of much interest, but later that changed. Shall we let it be?You urgently need a plan B if that was plan A. but good to hear/here there and everywhere (some Fab 4 songs were vaguely bearable) from you again.
Plan B is more en flique. Sg Pepper was massively over hyped, as were the Beatles. Post DSOM The Floyd didn't do much for me. Puccini? Never the same after Italia '90, sleep problems apparently.Ahh, pre Sgt Peppers the fab 4 + 1 George Martin were not of much interest, but later that changed. Shall we let it be?
I was more a “ hunting tigers out in India and the canyons of your mind “ fan, these days light opera and plank floored ( Pink Floyd ) are likely to get played, Puccini is not Uncomfortably numb ing hehehe
Nice to see you again Alfs..Good afternoon Ladies, Gentleman and Neanderthals and those who identify as a savoy cabbage, well one must learn to be inclusive or so one or 6 of me, me’s and myself are told.
Yep full internetty privileges were restored this morning, please don’t mention other stolen incursions onto the internetty in the last few days.
Blood sugars over the past week have been between 4.0 and 7.3 with an average of 5.1 including this mornings.
To those travelling have a safe journey.
Stay safe all, remember life is a one way journey best lived for the moment with as much humour as possible, now if you don’t mind I’m going to find someone puritanical and ruin their day by making them smile.
Aren’t you glad my internetty access has been restored?
No late addition - there are a few scratches on the previous image for where the green bits ended up.The colour discloses so much perspective in all of your images. Didn't notice the greenery growing out of the wall before - is that a late addition?
One thing you learn to do in the military is to pack kit so that it doesn’t get wet and you know where everything is. It spills into touring on a motorcycle - just enough and include some soap and a length of cord for a washing line.Ooh nice idea.
A few years back I think I cracked my packing.
Saw a whole rake of vids showing "how to pack"
So I now roll any clothes up, place like for like in plastic bags (supermarket ones get used here )
Flatten and tape tightly.
Fits all my kit in nicely, & bonus is on a arrival I know what's in every bag, so packing everything away & finding an outfit for that first wander round is a piece of the proverbial.
Madam's ol' school, so i sit & have a cold drink, while she melts down, muttering "I'm sure its in here somewhere...aagghh "
Smug ?
Moi....?
Couldn't possibly say..![]()
I suppose it's the same in the merchant navy and that's why Tom was so good at it - although it has to be admitted he had a larger baggage allowance than the military would have given, which is why he could take a huge accordion with him.One thing you learn to do in the military is to pack kit so that it doesn’t get wet and you know where everything is. Ah, an interior this time. Makes me feel a bit warmer already (it is very cold and grey here in the Hebrides today).Good morning everyone from the country where a lack of vowels is made up for with extra letters ‘L’ and ‘W’ and has spread all over road signs for the confusion of the bewildered. Mind you, I don’t think that the Welsh language is spoken as much in this corner of Wales as it is further up the coast. The important thing is that the place we are staying in has a decent cafetière, which I am testing right now. Art bit - something I did a couple of weeks ago. Hope you all have a pleasant day. Best get back to this koffy.
