What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good afternoon everyone on a blistering sunny day here in the dark and dangerous north. Temperature is relative of course, just like fasting blood sugar readings. Mine this morning was 6.1 and followed by a chuckled “oops!, but you know what you did”. Lovely wander into town this morning, trying for maximum sunshine, still cold in the shadows. Bloke called Trevor who sits on his stroller outside the supermarket for four hours every day collecting for a local children’s hospice tells us he is now up to £78, 300 and change so far. He has been collecting for quite a few years. Called in a Brockley Hall to check on wheelchair access for Mrs Miggins’ sister on our way home. There is an afternoon tea calling on Sunday. Art bit - is that the way to Elysium or more likely Amarillo? Hope your day is moving along nicely. You don’t have to stay on top of everything - it’s nice to say “I don’t know” but for news gossip, “I don’t care”. Mug of tea time - well I have already had two huge mugs of koffy.
A wonderful Art bit @dunelm

Well Walton not a nice place at all but if you do end up there I will come and visit you would not be the first person I’ve visited there though the other person was despicable but his friend Melody’s ex who turned out to be a very unpleasant person him self insisted he never done it and could I please drive him there.
Not guilty plea already with my brief.
it is a horrific place. Seen it from the outside, wouldn't want to go in there!

I used to go in there to deliver the free newspapers, and my son, when he was in junior school, went in to train in the gym there with his classmate.... He never told me, until years later... his classmate's dad was gym instructor there.

We lived literally a stone's throw from it. Walked through the cemetery, past Robert Tressell's grave, and you were at the front door of Walton Gaol...

Ah yes Robert Tressell author of The Ragged-Trousered Philanthropists Noonan close nearby is named for him his real name being Robert Noonan.

10.2 this morning. Not good, but still better than 12-15. Was this due to the milky coffee and biscuit I had with the ladies after choir practice? Possibly... Will have to see if this is a pattern.
Had a lazy day yesterday, and even had my friend pick me up for choir. Still feel a bit "off" today, but nothing specific, so another quiet day today.

Good morning everyone on a lazy sleep in start to another delicious day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.3 this a.m. Lambs Liver last night with lardons, an onion and mushroom creamy gravy, French froggy beans and 24 hrs in the fridge colcannon. Making mash and chilling overnight works for me if I don’t go crazy. Another sunny day yesterday so a good day hopping in and out of shadows for a bit of vitamin D. Girl In The Bubble not at school today - something about skiving teachers. Could have been an insert day but I’m probably confusing that with a replicants insept day in Blade Runner. Art bit - another shade of grey. Hope you decide to have a good day. I shall start with koffy and then get ready for whatever plans Mrs Miggins has concocted which will probably include taking said Girl In The Bubble to her favorite cafe for a toasted muffin.
