What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all. 7.2 at 9am.( Late start today). A dreary looking morning so far with sleety drizzle but at least the snow/ ice are thawing so hopefully more people can get out and about. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.:)

Good morning, still too high for me,black coffee and cream for breakfast.......hoped for rain today as per forecast, but it's snowing .........again!
Welcome,@Goonergal hope you sleep better tonight.
Whoops, forgot to say BS 6.7,if I had a brain I'd be dangerous.Have a good day everyone, the snow is affecting my brain today.;)

6.3 this morning. Had my morning cream but still rose a little throughout the morning to 7 :(
Levels have been a bit high over the last few days. The weather has meant I've not done the exercise that I usually would.
Feeling in a little rut and stuck between 6 and 7 almost constantly.

Very hungry badgers, ate next door's ducks. I found just a head from one of them on my land!

Hi not knowing much about badgers I was very surprised to hear they ate chicken and duck, in fact don't know what they eat, must have been very upsetting to see the carnage! K

Considering the pain your in it's probably the cause of higher BG, good luck K

Hi @CakeAddiction and welcome to the forum! Well done on taking control, you will get a lot of good advice and support on here.

Thank you. I’ve been reading avidly for the last day. He forum looks like such a lovely community.

Just reading other people’s posts are making me feel more positive and less like I don’t know where to start.

No carnage on my side just a few feathers in the orchard next door and no sign of the chickens. I was alerted by the sole survivor tapping on the patio door (she had never been in that part of the garden) - she had obviously hidden in a tree! It was all just a reminder that our "furry friends" may look cute but are cold killers.

Hello Granny_grump. I haven't been able to do my usual exercise either so I'm sure that is contributing to my raised levels too. I'll just have to try harder with my low carbs. Thanks for your wishes.:)

good morning all :)

4.6 today

it's been bouncing down with rain all night here and the forecast says it will continue for most of today so that will help the thaw ;) I must wrap up and go for a good walk later as I didn't have one yesterday :sorry:

I have to fast until I've had blood taken for my 6 month testing later this morning, I'm managing the 'no food' ok but I confess to missing my cuppa. Have a good day everyone.
