@DJC3 Wow. Just how big is the thumbprint on Mr Cs head? #liberateMrCnow
Been away for a while due to the vagaries and tribulations of life, but today I felt that I had to do something normal, so... 5.8 this morning. Funny how I consider posting that 'normal'.
I can’t have caffeine due to tachycardia good thing I never liked coffeeGood luck with the coffee experiment. I intended to do the same as I’ve a feeling it is affecting my blood pressure - sometimes it’s high sometimes low, doesn’t seem much rhyme or reason to it until I considered coffee consumption. It was very low all last year, when I spent a long time in hospital, but the coffee there was horrible so I wasn’t drinking any.
I have failed at the first hurdle though and just made a big mug of filter coffee with cream. Giving up coffee is going to be far harder then bread or pasta!
He was just on Radio 4. Mentioned Dr Malhotra and said promoting public awareness of combating T2 diabetes would be a priority of any Labour Government, not just for better health, but also to lower spending on increasing costs of dealing with the condition.5.8 today.
Have been reading the Tom Watson story in the Guardian- a high profile advocate of LCHF
Welcome back @HarrisonK
Good fbg - Looks like you have kept your eye on the ball in your absence.
Just so long as no one suggests a tea free fast. Giving up coffee is going to be far harder then bread or pasta!
I built a man cave on our old house just so I didn't have to be in the same room as that programme. I also point blank refused to sanction anything shown on there to be cooked in our house.I love it - we used to join in by making something to join in with each week’s theme ie biscuits on biscuit week, bread on bread week. Sadly don’t do that now but it’s still the only programme on tv I’d stay in for.
I’ll take the hug anyway, thanks.

There was obviously a very tense period whilst the cave was being built and sometimes Mrs P complained of mysterious power cuts when she was about to bakeBut how would you know if you didn’t watch it? Haha I bet there were some delicacies sneaked in!
Oh dear, if Fung says it is good I start to worry
Those carbs are very crafty @DJC3 they can sneak up and get you6.7 this morning
It was bread week on Bake Off, but I only WATCHED it didn’t eat any. Irritating!

Of course - did you think I would have picked or stayed with any other type? She gaveI’m sure she found a way round it - Mrs P sounds like a very resourceful lady, and well used to your wily ways.
