What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Wow you look amazing!! I love seeing people’s journeys as it really spurs me on. I’ve still got a little way to go before I’m where I need to be but for now I’m happy with the progress :)
Quite dangerous in the days of #Metoo but that avatar is amazing. Proper testimony to your effort. @SaskiaKC beat me to it. That poem was trotted out at final assembly in every school at which I ever taught :banghead:

I posted a before and after photo once on here somewhere, in the before photo I looked like an extremely fat short bumbling old man with some form of dementia. in the after photo I did not look quite so overweight.

Very self effacing young man. If you were any sharper you would cut yourself at times.

Hello - it’s a few hours early but while I’m still awake and vertical may I wish you all a very happy new year.
Thank you all for the help and support you’ve given me this year. It’s been really uplifting getting to know you all.
Your advice, support, empathy and the occasional hug have really made a difference.
Cheers

And so you should be. You are doing so great.

And I am feeling encouraged to do as well in 2019 as I did last summer.

Cheers!

Well, the day is just getting started for me, and I supposed for @Chronicle_Cat as well, while for many of y'all it is getting to be thinking-about-what-to-wear time or which-movie-to-watch time. As for me, the coffee is drunk, the calendar is beeping, the KittenCat has just jumped down from my lap, and I have a 90th-birthday card to deliver.

So, to all near and far, Happy New Year!

And @Emma_369 don't ask the pilot to rock his wings or anything, but if I see you as you fly over, I will wave.
Happy New Year

We had to memorize Kipling's "If" at school every year for at least four years, from 6th grade (age 11) to at least 9th grade (age 14).

Wonder if it is still stuck in my brain? Hmm ...

If you can keep your head when all about you
are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
yet make allowance for their doubting too ...
... erm ...
