What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.9 on finger prick and 5.7 on libre...

I tried "Explore Cuisine" Edamame Fettuccine which has 2.5 net carbs and also a keto choc bar... had about 140gms of cheese in total, a cup of MCT coffee, two poached eggs, one slice of almond bread and one chilli lime avocado and garlic jalapeno olives... all within 5 hours window... I was worried that reading will be high especially because of the Fettuccine but this reading is actually on lower side compare to other FBG following a non fasting day... this is good news indeed because that Fettuccine tastes like normal pasta so much so that even my dog didn't notice the difference and happily slurped one when I offered him a sniff...

4.8 on finger prick and 4.0 on libre... this is after fasting day and so these numbers are in expected range as well.

Today my daughter turns 14 and I am hoping I can relax the constraints on diet just a tiny bit when we go out for dinner so to compensate i will delay eating atleast until lunch time.

Yesterday had 6.3 after about 2 hrs broken sleep ( Libre said 3.3! Biggest anomaly yet)
Today 6.4 on finger prick. Slept a bit better but underlying cause for high levels is still there so no surprise really.
