What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Yay for tiptoeing through the tulips into fiveland - the girl C dun good, innit. I'm told we must be at Stanstead by 6.00 am so leave here around 5.00 am. Pizza after a wedding? Sheesh. I live in Little America but c'mon that is really plumbing the depths.

They are not a traditional couple in any sense of the word but they are happy and in love and that makes me happy too. I still hope they don’t decide on pizza though.
No pizza for you next week, I remember your previous posts about how great the food was at your hotel. Enjoy.

Awake most of the night got up at 3ish took BG just out of curiosity and it was 9.1 had a carby snack went back to bed though didn't really sleep then when I did my BG at 8 am it was 5.9. Not sure how that worked but maybe I need to eat in the early hours lol .

Hinner. Hug for early waking, winner for the fbg.

That’s youngsters for you! I am a cake maker ironically, so at least I know het wedding cake will be good haha

5.3 this morning after being totally wiped out yesterday (for no apparent reason) and going to bed at about the same time as I did when I was 8!

Feeling decidedly muzzy headed when I got up, but some fresh air and a high powered coffee has sorted me out (which one helped more shall be left as an exercise for the class)

So 5.0 this morning - foolishly decided to try to see what 3/4 oz of porridge will do to me. Last time I tried I was following the advice of the DN and her Eatwell guidance, that was over 2 years ago - went up over 3 points worst number I have seen since beginning to test. All I want to do now is stick my fingers down my throat to get rid - but I won't, because I want to see if there is any improvement in my handling of pure carbs. Not holding out much hope but I will let you know later - that is of course if I remember to check my bloods. :)
