What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

We made Christmas fruit cakes at school one year, we matured them for 6 months and laced them every week with the plonk and a bit more religiously!! The home economics room stank of booze for the next 6 months! When we had marzipaned and iced them, we took them home and displayed them on our Christmas tables. My relatives couldn't believe that I had produced such a fine cake with such potency! It was a brilliant Christmas and one I will not forget!!

We did have nuns at our school and they were so strict, but the teacher we had was not religious in the slightest which is why we got away with it! She smoked like a trooper and always had a red face, I think she loved her liquor! Or high bp! She really was a scream and probably pushing daisies now
