So back home from my break - came back Sunday. Wish I could say I really enjoyed it however whilst I enjoy visiting the area, it rained a lot so we never really got as much walking done as we intended. I don't usually mind rain, but we really got a drenching on a couple of occasions. The house we rented looked really good on paper supposedly 10/10 but it didn't live up to expectations. The beds etc were nipping clean bathrooms were really luxurious, but the pans and cooking trays etc,.in the kitchen left a lot to be desired. Generally grubby with grease left in the fry pans and some of the baking trays were rusty. Also,. I don't appreciate going on holiday and having to scour the inside of the cooker just so we could use it. Actually OH was the one that cleaned it bless him. The leather sofas in the living room looked good but they had to be the most uncomfortable sofas I have ever experienced which resulted in a really aching back and my hip area went into spasm - not nice. I was glad to be back home. Had to take some naproxen which i already had at home from a previous soft tissue injury. Doc must think I am old as when he prescribed it he also told me I had to take Omeprazole in conjunction. Looking at the constituents of Omeprazole, it contains sucrose. Duh!. No wonder my bloods went up into the high 6s. To top it all yesterday something fluey hit me and that has knocked me for six. I think it is just a cold/flu but will test for Covid just in case. I have my lunch club this Thursday - its my turn for dessert and I had intended to do a pineapple charlotte russe. If it is Covid, that won't be happening.
Back at home with more comfortable chairs to sit on, the back seems to be improving but I have been really dizzy with a pounding head, and just feel meh! I've decided to stop taking the Naproxen. FBG was 6.8 this morning. I've got my A1c coming up in a couple of weeks usually I am confident of a reasonable result, not this year think I might be coming out of remission my bad but
literally Bricking it!
