My fbg is 11.2 this morning. I've left a message for my dn as I've gained a stone of weight with constipation and fluid. Hba1c was done yesterday. My pain levels have rocketted out of control. Codeine doesn't work. See GP tomorrow and awaiting hospital dn to get back to me. 6wk wait for abdominal scan.... not 2 like gp said.

I really hope they can give you something to help. ickihun. All these waiting times are so frustrating when you are in pain. Also the medication for one condition can cause other symptoms. Codeine always upsets my digestive system and may be contributing to your constipation etc.??? Hugs!

@Glenmac British red cross can loan wheelchairs out for up to 12 weeks.

Morning all. Oh the ups and downs of medication! My blood pressure and pain levels have been raised so I've been put on extra medication for those. This has resulted in my pulse rate increasing to 128 ish so I've now been given betablockers. After only one tablet yesterday morning my pulse has dropped to 72 and my fbs dropped back to 7.2 from 8.6 yesterday but I now have to watch out for hypos as one of the side effects of the beta blockers! If you hear a distant rattling noise it's probably my tablets. LOL P.S. Just started snowing here. Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone I've been to clinic and got a temporary dressing until Friday,the district nurse has ordered me from chemist honey dressings to help with the healing,so along with my antibiotics it should help more,back to doctors tomorrow and district nurse again Monday so quite a busy week ahead but needs must! K

I’ve heard good things about honey dressings - really good antibacterial properties so hope they work for you Granny_grump_. Good luck with all your appointments today

Adding weight because cannot move for any longer than a few minutes than wham! it hits me like a brick. On top of constant right side internal pain.
Ive had a few days of horrendous school run in capabilities. School helped once I got on their premises but just 2 Street walk has been horrendous. Stopping twice as much but in agony. I've cried on way back after 20mins wait first. Luckily no one around. Sooo embarrassing.
I'm telling GP I need a wheelchair if no pain help ASAP.

Oh dear you Sounds really bad for you maybe being in a hospital would be best for you cant They give you morphine in such a case ?
