What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Gosh sounds like you have an incredibly busy day planned

Bless your mum a grand age.

Go steady if you plant up some flowers careful with your back

Sorting stuff out tell me about it
I moved 2 years ago and despite offloading around 5 car fulls of stuff to charity shops we still have 2 cupboards stored with all sorts of items hidden away so it really needs looking at

Whereabouts in USA do your family members live? Hope our good weather continues when they arrive

I’m going to look around a garden centre this afternoon something I often do
Thanks for that, Cumberland. Sadly mum has been diagnosed with Atzheimers and needs lots of care. My hubby helps a lot but there is no-one else so at times it can be very exhausting and heart rendering. The pending visit has done us a favour, really as we have been meaning to de-clutter for ages and 43 years in the same house has resulted in soooo much stuff.:arghh: My cousin and hubby live in Illinois. I hope the weather stays dry and warm too but not as humid! Enjoy yourself at the garden centre and don't do what I do---buy plants because I like them and then have nowhere to put them! :D

@Cumberland I know this sounds like a silly question but is there a difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia I should know as my nanny has dementia but I’m not very well educated on it the one piece of advice I can give to @dogslife is be very patient my nanny will come into my room every 5 minutes forgetting she already asked me if I’d like a cup of tea best wishes for your mum @dogslife God bless

Dementia illnesses can cover
Dementia
Alzheimer’s
Parkinson’s Dementia
Vascular Dementia
Huntington’s Disease
None of which are pleasant

Oh bless her! Your nanny sounds lovely, you are obviously very close, you mention her a lot.
Dementia is such a cruel disease though, she’s lucky to have a loving family around her.

After stomping around the house for 10 minutes searching for my test kit I’ve only myself to blame for 6.3. About to go and marinade the meat ahead of slow roast timed to reach perfection just after a penalty shootout (hopefully not required).

Apologies to anyone who went to look for my blog yesterday and couldn’t find it- I needed to adjust my privacy settings which I’ve done now so it is visible. I’m hoping though you all have better things to do today than read my rambling thoughts.

@dogslife we definitely are close everyday she comes to my house to look after me well she thinks she’s looking after me but really I’m keeping an eye on her she doesn’t know she has dementia on Saturdays we go to her house and she makes us homemade chips. Best wishes for your mother
