What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.8. Early. Then 8.4 afew hours later, no a morsel offood or drop of liquid consumed meantime. I am claiming the 6.8.
Made up the mile deficit yesterday with a three mile river side walk. I am in credit with a mile to spare. Thinking of a short walk to bank some milestoday. I know, @DEBBIESCOTT , this is an adaptation of the plan that could be demed cheating. I prefer to say it is ‘reasonable adjustment’ for my age, stage, and general decrepitude.:)
Keep on keeping on, folks. We are all doing just fine.

It’s great you’re still doing it, no matter how or when, my 5 mile run yesterday didn’t buy me any extra days but did clear my hangover

11.3 ... my mornings are always between 9.0 and 12.0, i take glyburide 5mg morning and evening, during the day my levels are quite good but need to watch the lows late afternoon

5.4 this morning - high for me.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening feeling like *****, didn't sleep much worth the mention and gave up the struggle at 5am. I'm ready for all of the above to just stop now.

5.5 or 6.7 depending on the meter used. New Tee2 arrived as promised but I haven’t set it up yet.
Hugs @Widgets and anyone else feeling under the weather, there seems to be a lot of it about.
@Pipp and @DEBBIESCOTT you both deserve medals.
@Ryhia good luck catching up with the Christmas preparations. Our decs went up mid Nov but half of them were still up from last year as I never got round to taking all the lights down!

@Widgets woe, woe and thrice woe and yet still sub the dreaded 5.6. Chapeau. @DEBBIESCOTT are the rest of your family training to be world class triathletes as well?:angelic: @DJC3 the funny was for the Christmas decs. Hi @beastie. Two Swipey's are winging their way here as I type (honest guv) so my fbg is a known unknown as per Donald - no, not the Supreme AH. 6.5 year trend is around the "magic" borderline Non D via Stabbo. Even if I stabbed or swiped there's the insane riddle of just what relationship with Elsie I need.

7.4 today and looking down the barrel of back to back teams meetings until 18:00. Exercise for today? I think I will have to do some vigorous house cleaning whilst listening to queen this evening

Nah, daughter runs, swims, bikes & a few weights, son tennis, football & gym
My trainer at the gym is actually an ex gb Triathlete, I’m getting pb’s every week,
Daughter & I are planning a local short triathlon next summer, I’m still the only one in immediate family who hasn’t done a marathon, not going to change

Full of admiration for you and your family. I'm booked for 3 gym sessions this week. Low key reboot since I've sat about for two years waiting for a variety of factors to improve. Never going to happen so time to roll the dice and pray.

Morning All. 6.6 an hour later than usual due to another disturbed night. The good news is the PCR was negative so on we go, better this week than next. Group hugs for all member of the coldy club. Happy Tuesday.
Good news about the PCR, and knowing its not Covid (again?) will hopefully give you a boost. Hope you feel better soon.

Enjoy the gym Ian, are you going to be doing weights or cardio or a combination of both?, just don’t overdo it, it’s a marathon & not a sprint
Weights are my favourite kind of exercise

Thanks. It is a combination programme specifically designed to help deal with the spinal stenosis. Overdo it, Moi? :D (I did add 10 kgs to chest press and add in sit ups. I'll try planks at home first)
