What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.6 at 5am today. Although I was also up and about at 3am. We did not manage to stay awake until midnight, so it's not quite as bad a night's sleep as it looks on Jan 1st. Still, blaming the bad sleep for the high-for-me number.

Onwards and ... erm ... downwards I suppose.

5.9 for me today. I will take that as I have had a horrible week due to an unexpected family situation.

Happy New Year everyone, we have got this!

6.3 yesterday, and 6.6 today. I also completed the Gomad challenge, which I hoped would help get fasting numbers to more acceptable levels. It has, but still not the low range I have had previously. Tempted by the Low Carb programme reset, which starts on Monday. @Estragon, I feel your disappointment, perhaps it would help you, too?
Best new year wishes folks.

After 36hr fast was 6.2
After 46hrs was 5 2
After 49hrs its 5.6
Finally after 90hr fast its 4.8
Went for 20min bike ride then 4.6
My longest ever fast. Weirdly was not hungry.
Will be having carb free lunch.
Sprouts, asparagus, leeks, mushroom, cara nero cabbage, pak choi all gently sauteed in olive oil and kerrygold grass fed butter. Live sourkraut and sea trout slices (simular to smoked salmon.) Sloosh of avacado oil over all on plate.
Only took few mins to knock up, one pan.
2hrs after lunch was 5.7
Then 2hrs after similar tea with pork fillet 6.1
(Contour next one)
