What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hello mates,
At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee or tea, and reported our fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?...

It worked well as a sort of 'first thread to check' each morning and post to.

I'll start.

This morning was a 5.6mmol for me. That's about normal for me

4.9 at which point I feel tingling. I think I am better in the 6's.
 
Morning All. 6.6 Libre said 5.8 but then it had me in 3s for couple of hours o/n so who to believe! @prhayes welcome and great start. @Sarahlouxoxo take care and rest, hope its mild, good score! @SaskiaKC yes its on we go, clapping each other on the way. well went for my appointment with eye specialist yesterday morning and it seems the NHS will fund the removal of the cataract on my right eye but not the left eye good news is i will have one good eye in a few weeks time.
 
unfortunately 7.5 this morning, very different to yesterday morning - taken at the same time following similar period of fasting (10 hours) - it was exactly the same as my post prandial check after dinner last night - still geting used to all of this, but early days...

@PenguinMum I suggest you ring up and complain. This sensor may be faulty. By complaining you will probably get sent a free replacement and will be able to assess whether this particular sensor is indeed faulty or whether Libre sensors will always behave like this for you. Good luck!
