What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

A jump to 7.6 this morning not sure why but it merely a blip ( hopefully ).My bg dropped to 4.2 yesterday after breakfast and a 3 mile walk too low for me but I must have used up my carbs ?

Hello mates,
At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee or tea, and reported our fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?...

It worked well as a sort of 'first thread to check' each morning and post to.

I'll start.

This morning was a 5.6mmol for me. That's about normal for me

What about you?

Mine was5.7mmol this morning and 8.9 going to bed am on lantus at night and fiasp at meal times. The result this morning good for me as been 3.9 and 11.2 during last month.

5.1 from the lab tested serum venous sample after 2 x 750 mls of tea with h/m almond milk so technically not fasted. Implies I may have some sort of rudimentary bg control. I just don't like the menu. @DEBBIESCOTT hope the hospital visit went well. @PenguinMum thanks - we are a community (if not all of convinced believers)
