What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all 4.7 - in the right postcode. Just need to find out where the actual fbg I ordered was delivered. Thanks @PenguinMum and good news on leaving those dolorous regions. @mojo37 the funny was for the word lush - do behave. What's worse is it was a roast dinner :meh: Y'all have a good day now, ya hear.
Thanks. Luckily I have a switched on nurse who is advocating no drugs and pushing me on the LCHF front. 4.8 again this morning after a heavy night on the rum and coke zero. Blood pressure has come right down too. Should have done this 2 years ago and not waited for a, life changing event to kick my **** into action.

Clueless me. Having roast dinner With family later (my absolute fabourite) and though I will dodge the roasties and Yorkies tomorrow FBG may not be so pretty!

8.8 - I know why, my EndoSys just can’t abide Carbostiens, whereas, my eyes, nose and taste buds just adore them. Even in moderation. To consume carbohydrates I need to daily note what I’ve taken, add it up, mentally, and place it in my CarboBank.
 
Morning all especially @PenguinMum :woot: :woot: Mine was 5.2 which given the attached is a score draw - just noticed, the cabbage was white and sauteed in butter - missed that.. Also managed a PB excellent sleep score from fitbit and a drop of 1 for resting pulse - still too high but :meh: . Septuagesima - (9 to go) enjoy.
Notes: I use an app called Cronometer. Yes, I weigh and measure food and myself most days. No, I don't advocate others doing the same @Estragon or anyone else. 1 body many members here as well. That could be just another club in the bag - or not.

Not sure what's going on 7.2 yesterday - wah!, Can't remember if I have ever had an FBG that high before. Bloods stayed high all day and this morning FBG was 6.2. Feel a little bit under the weather so maybe something going on? Lets see what tomorrow brings. @Pipp you're making great strides with the Fast keto 800 eating plan - well done. I was going to ask if you thought the book was worth buying? I have Michael Mosley's fast 800 diet book however many of the recipes in that one are just too high in carbs for me. About the only things I cook from it are his recipe for Bolognese sauce and his smoked mackerel and spinach frittata.

@Ryhia I bought the fast 800 paperback, and not tooimpressed with the layout of recipes, as only calories not carbs listed, and they seem to be carb heavy.
The Fast 800 keto recipe book, looks much more promising. Haven’t followed any recipes yet. I am using up freezer contents before planning meals and buying ingredients. Quite impressed with the contents of the book. Simple recipes, low carb, with carbs and calories listed. Think it is work of MM’s wife, rather than his. Can get similar recipes on diet doctor site, but I like having the book pages to flip through for inspiration.

So that I don’t derail the thread, I intend to start a thread elsewhere, later, mainly for myself to chart what Ibam doing and intend to achieve.

As per intention not to derail this thread.…. Sunday fasting 7.2. Today 7.4.
