What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I have not eaten since 7pm last night (homemade pizza & diet Irn Bru) , took Metformin. Woke up in the night with my tongue stuck to roof of mouth at 4am dreamt of being lost looking for something, i suspect now it was the cold tap. Couldn't get out of bed, felt terrible. Fasted since 7pm last night, and at noon BG was 8.5 so I took a metformin, fasted some more and just now its 6.6. Feel fine again now. Going to may hay while sun shines and get some work done. Metformin makes me blow up like a balloon, whether I eat with it or not. So living on slim a soups when BG in range, 1 balanced meal a day to lose weight and get this diabetes into remission.

7.5 today after lie-in and no surprises due to a late evening takeaway. Will probably spend most of the day on the "naughty step" with fasting as a penance. Has to be done now and again. Happy weekend all.
