Today was my salad making day lots of ingredients chopped and grated mixed and put into kilner jars to develop their flavours.this weeks favourite is my grated beetroot, red cabbage, carrot, turmeric root, ginger root and half an apple all finely grated from raw and mixed with live local apple cider vinegar and a dash of live chilli sauce.

First thing a couple of spoons of hm yoghurt with my daily supplements
Lunch first photo left over chicken and salads followed by a few berries with hm yoghurt
Dinner frittata with salads then a pudding sf raspberry jelly with a few berries served with hm yoghurt.

@Jayne1983 congratulations on your hbaca1 really well done.

No breakfast, exercise class and a mint tea with "the girls" after
L: salad with half a chicken thigh, 1 and a half bacon rashers, 1 slice ham, 2 slices cheese. Ff greek with a sixth or an apple chopped with 4 pecans
Appt with physio re my sciatica. Good news is it doesn't seem disk related, bad news just age and likely to reoccur
Coffee with cream
D: steak with buttery cabbage and radishes roasted in the airfryer before I put the steak in

@Annb and @shelley262 - 2 weeks for an emergency telephone consultation! However, I can try every day at 8am to see if it can be sooner. @Antje77 - belated Happy Birthday xx My Marie Rose is a mix of mayo, cream, tomato puree, tabasco, dash of brandy and paprika.

Bed was 8 2 - yesterday was a major struggle with the BGs. Very high all day despite no food and extreme sickness. Back to 7 2 FBG and I've been around 5.1 most of the day. A reasonable night but I woke up at 5 am shivering. I'd been sweating so much my nightdress was soaked through so I had to dispose of that and get another to get warmed up again.

B. Just water. Wasn't too sure my tum would appreciate food.
L. Very late - slice of SLC toast and a boiled egg. No reaction thank goodness.
D. 2 grilled lamb chops - it was an effort.

I'm hoping my BGs coming down is a good sign

Edit to correct tobacco to tabasco!

Evening all. Seem to be a bit behind.

@MrsA2 hope you managed to listen back to the Clubhouse with Angela Stanton, but glad dozing off cleared the migraine. Your dinner sounds good.

@Antje77 belated happy birthday.

@maglil55 hope you feel better soon.

And hope I haven’t missed any major news.

Have spent far too much time wandering off piste recently (yes, M&S eclairs, I’m looking at you!) so am now trying to get back on track.

Don’t remember all my meals since I last posted, but they’ve involved copious amounts of lamb shoulder (yesterday), lamb ribs (Friday and today) and pork belly pieces.

Today’s full menu was air fried lamb ribs for lunch and air fried pork belly pieces for dinner, with some Fage 0% and raspberries for dessert.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a Phd bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a Carb Killa bar.
Dinner: Keralan chicken curry and cauliflower rice followed by SF blackcurrant jelly and cream.

Thank you for the birthday wishes!
Is your recipe a typo, some unknown to me flavouring with a funny name or do you really eat tobacco?

Today I made a true salad of yesterdays sauce and more of the shrimps by adding onion, cucumber, some pickled onions and lettuce, and some more lemon juice and salt as well.
Much better than yesterdays shrimp coctail!

With it I had cooked cauliflower with a creamy cheesy mushroom sauce, a wild experiment turned out very good!

hi all. no bf, for which i got into trouble from the nurse when i passed out during my op! I thought she said 1 lump of tissue out at a time and she meant 1 hand at a time! They took out all but 1 and ive got 15 stitches. The friend who was coming to look after me for a couple of days had a migraine so I had to help myself so got some cauliflower cheese from yesterday, plus some left over veg and put it in the oven. plus 2 cold chicken drumsticks. my hand was still numb so it was just awkward not painful. for my tea i had 2 slices of bread with lots of butter cos I couldnt spread it, and some smoked salmon. plus a very small sausage roll and a fantail shortbread. my level tonight was 6.9.

hello everyone I haven't posted for quite a long time mainly as my choices have not been ideal I also had a recent blood test and my HBA1 was not ideal a bit high I explained to my endo my eating has not been ideal last 6 months so need to go back to Low carb eating but instead of listening to me he wanted to add another tablet to my current diabetic medication but I refused and said no the reason it has been a tad high was due to my diet over last 6 months His reply T2D progresses but I want to try proof him wrong and get back to Low carb eating... any way the last few mornings I have been eating scrambled eggs with a slice of buttered sourdough toast or boiled egg with fetta cheese avocado and buttered sourdough with some vegemite. but today had a bowl of organic muesli with some full fat milk mainly to finish the packet of but after a few hours was looking for food go figure.

dinner tonight have some pork belly that I will be cooking in the air fryer for dinner and will be making a quick Asian stir fry of broccoli carrots green beans and sprouts that I will toss in bit of garlic ginger soya sesame seed oil and chilli slices hopefully that keeps my hunger at bay. also been following a biochemist who recommends drinking tablespoon of ACV with water through a straw before eating a meal it is suppose to control you BSL so might give it a a go. ay way just wanted to let you know I am back and trying to get myself back to posting what I eat and hopefully control my BSL cheers.

Don't worry about it!
You likely posted between 11 and 11:30 PM, it's a known forum glitch where the forum becomes slow around that time.
There should be a 'Delete' button below your posts though, so you can always delete the extra's once you notice.

I hope your hand isn't too painful and bothering, get well soon!
