Today's meals are set - not exactly in stone, but all in place, so there shouldn't be any reason not to follow the plan.
Breakfast was one crumpet and a cup of coffee.
Lunch is more of the mixed vegetable soup I made yesterday - there's enough for 6 days left there, but it won't last that long, so I'll have to put some in the freezer.
Evening meal will be the last of the beef mince with some mushrooms and some tomato to make a quick ragout.
Neil made his soya milk and it seems to be fine but he was left with a lot of pulp which was crying out to be used so he added it to his bread dough. He's not well today and won't be eating the rest of the bread - too much fibre, I think. Trying to think of a use for soya bean pulp. Now that there are no hens to be fed, it is likely just to be thrown out. Wonder if it would benefit Ginnie to help her keep her fitness level up while feeding 11 pups. She'd probably be better drinking the milk. Currently she's on puppy food which is richer than ordinary dog food.
