What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

First meal at noon after copious black coffee all morning - the last tandoori salmon fillet with salad. DGF mince pie and more coffee afterwards.
Mid aft feeling glum, a mini bar of Montezuma’s Absolute black.
D- DD chicken Caprese casserole and broccoli with dry white wine.

Yesterday didn't eat until 8pm following an impromptu trip to A&E. Nothing found, hope it doesn't reoccur.
Meant I'd fasted from 6 pm the night before. So glad this forum and low carb means I don't fear it and know I can do it. Pre D I'd have been panicking and raiding the snack machine (which was packed with crisps, chocolate and cereal bars )

8 pm scrambled eggs

Today
B: hm lc yoghurt with seeds and berries
L: 2 slices Hilo bread toasted with cheese
D: cheeses, 4 olives 2 cherry tomatoes, yoghurt jelly,1 sq 85% .1 glass red wine

I have some hard boiled eggs, so will make egg mayo for breakfast.
Also have a big pot of mixed veg soup - all ones that shouldn't upset me - with a tin of borlotti beans added. Not enough beans to make much difference in such a big pot of soup.
Still have some beef mince left so will make another beef and egg mess this evening.

Edit: another typo

Yesterday breakfast was bacon ( 2 small rashers ) fried egg and wholemeal roll with butter cup of tea (25 carbs )
lunch quite early because very hungry after walk , was wholemeal roll pate and salad. (22 carbs )
Mid afternoon low carb jelly and a little probiotic yogurt.
dinner / tea grilled pork chops and a sauce made with mushrooms onions herbs and lemon juice ( full fat Greek yoghurt add to make it creamy . ( 15 carbs ) I always used to have this with noodles .

FBG this morning 7.3 I thought it would have been lower re low carb .

Morning all. Nothing yet just my coffee. Have an upset stomach so will be drinking more and eating less today to see if I can rectify it. Same here @MrsA2, my friends have told me I should eat regularly at certain times but with this forum, I know better.

Back from my appointment with the GP. Had a hypo on the way in (Neil was driving, not me) and having drunk a little pot of glucose syrup kept in the car for the purpose, had a further one while in with the GP. Embarassing. I obviously got something wrong with my insulin dosing before breakfast. Still struggling to get BG to stay up in the 4's. So I had a slice of banana loaf (made yesterday) and we'll see what that does. Breakfast was half a bacon sandwich which Em had left from her breakfast.

Soup is ready to go for lunch.

Might mix some cold Cumberland sausage in with the beef for for the "mess" later on.

Sorry to hear of your A&E visit @MrsA2 but glad all is well now and full marks for swerving the snacks.

Today brunch supposed to be bacon butty is SLC roll but a power cut in the middle meant the bacon was barely cooked, definitely not crispy.
Snack of h/m yoghurt, berries and seeds.
D- DD chicken caprese casserole with green beans and spinach. Couple of glasses of red. Followed by DGF mince pie and cream. I love these, shame they are so expensive, but maybe it’s a good thing, saves me eating too many.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a food dr bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and an Aldi protein bar.
Dinner: LC pizza with coleslaw and two baby yellow tomatoes followed by DGF lemon drizzle and cream.

B: hm lc yoghurt with seeds and half a pear (wasn't really hungry but needed to "get things moving" )
L: a ham and brie ploughman's but without the bread, Cole slaw, a little pickle, a pickled onion, celery, a few apple slices. Coffee with cream. Not bad for a cafe I thought couldn't accommodate me. Hubby had posh cheese on toast
D: 2 95% pork sausages with 2 portobello mushrooms in garlic butter. 3 sqs 85% chocolate and a large glass red

Yesterday ( I find it easier to write the next day because it's mainly the mornings that I go on here )
Breakfast was my usual bacon eggs and wholemeal toast with butter and a cuppa ( 42 carbs )
lunch peanut butter on wholemeal toast coffee (28 carbs )
mid afternoon low carb jelly and probiotic yoghurt and a cracker .(10 carbs )
Evening meal same as Thursday ie chops and mushrooms ect .
Sat morning FBG 6.7 :)

Today's meals are set - not exactly in stone, but all in place, so there shouldn't be any reason not to follow the plan.

Breakfast was one crumpet and a cup of coffee.
Lunch is more of the mixed vegetable soup I made yesterday - there's enough for 6 days left there, but it won't last that long, so I'll have to put some in the freezer.
Evening meal will be the last of the beef mince with some mushrooms and some tomato to make a quick ragout.

Neil made his soya milk and it seems to be fine but he was left with a lot of pulp which was crying out to be used so he added it to his bread dough. He's not well today and won't be eating the rest of the bread - too much fibre, I think. Trying to think of a use for soya bean pulp. Now that there are no hens to be fed, it is likely just to be thrown out. Wonder if it would benefit Ginnie to help her keep her fitness level up while feeding 11 pups. She'd probably be better drinking the milk. Currently she's on puppy food which is richer than ordinary dog food.

Unintentional fast until 13:30 but lots of black coffee.
L- Cold chicken, salad leaves and h/m mayo. Quickest plate of food I could put together.
D- H/m burger on thick slices of cheddar with a fried egg on top. It was a thing of beauty but I forgot to take a photo. Traditional sauerkraut on the side ( not so beautiful).
Couple of glasses of red watching Strictly results before tv gets turned to football.

Skipped breakfast as Saturday is early yoga
11 am 3 cold sausages and a seed bar meant I could avoid cake easily at local coffee morning.
Cold community event was followed by a cup of ginger tea
D: 1 slice maasdam as microwave crisps, lamb kofta with tzsatiki and broccoli, 2 sqs 70% choclate with caramel, 1 glass red wine
