Enjoy the Farmer's Market @dunelmGood morning everyone from a bright and sunny start here in the dark and dangerous north. The Ninky Nonks and Little Miss Pamplemouse are off to see their other grandmother today and will be picked up mid morning. But firstly, it’s farmers market so we will have a wander round there for a while and pick up some titbits - they want some Kimchi from the Korean stall (who knew that Korea was in Yorkshire?). Birthday party tonight for a niece. Art bit - some new squiggles. Have as pleasant day as you can. I have had my koffy so best get my shoes on ready for the off.

Oh yes, it was samosas while wandering arround and then the bloke from Pimlico was demonstrating how to make passports. It's a global world, init
Obv , being Yorkshire, they'll try to deny it....how goes their independence movement ..![]()
Another smashing lighthouse, love that froth on the waterFbg 6.7
On the nighttime wildlife camera...
A busy night for cats, badger, and fox...

Sun today.
I need to get out of my bed, but I did too much yesterday, and all I want to do is sleep....
A cuppa first.
And a positive meditation I think...
You all have a good day!

Thank you. We don’t buy very much really as it can get quite costly but did get some dry cider for son and some ingredients for tomorrows curry from a couple of Sikhs who always produce very good authentic sauces that don’t contain sugar or preservatives. Also, Kimchi from the Korea stall. It’s all go and local eggs have gone up to £2.60 for half a dozen.Enjoy the Farmer's Market @dunelm
Great sketch.
Hugs for that pollen count. I have read that very locally produced honey helps but always with these things wonder about how effective that might beeGood morning all even though some may feel that to be a terminological inexactitude given their aches. pains and yesterday's exertions. Take some Druid's Fluid/a hot cross bun/Easter egg or carry on camping. @dunelm enjoy the farmer's market they need TLC after too much Coffey. Thanks for sharing the squiggles which will obviously become stunning art as per. @gennepher hug for effects of yesterday but thanks for sharing that creative. Thanks for the minaret topping@Annb hug for the fbg and balance issues. Good job Neil was up and about. @Krystyna23040 enjoy the walk - will there be coffee and sausage roll? Enjoy your day mine will be sub optimal as the pollen count and sources are not what I'm bred to deal with.
Thanks. I have heard that as well. All my life I haveHugs for that pollen count. I have read that very locally produced honey helps but always with these things wonder about how effective that might bee.

Just get local bees to sting you a bit.Thanks. I have heard that as well. All my life I have hated the taste of honey with a vengeance after just one mouthful as a child.
Cracking reply ...Oh yes, it was samosas while wandering around and then the bloke from Pimlico was demonstrating how to make passports.
Beehive yourself.Just get local bees to sting you a bit.
Doubt I'd be of use @ianpspurs sadly .A question for those who are physically active. I don't think I am any longer. How the deuce do you eat LC and get enough energy? I accept that I try to avoid overloading my kidneys so, for example, cheese and eggs are carefully managed. I guess most of you find red meat more appealing than I. I'd also say my carbs are pretty high due to incorporating gut mircobiome friendly foods. On other threads people often say they are full or even gaining weight. I'm baffled how that happens with LC food. I do consume little or no alcohol most of the time. Please don't mention Diet Dr or I may self combust.
Respect for even trying .6.9 or 7.9 this morning whichever one cares to look at it! Funny day for me feeling a bit "off " kilter so decided to attack the garden with the hedge trimmer. Husband has stayed well away as he has remarked that he has seen what I have done to my clients hair! He was only joking but it did make me think twice. I am definitely Edward Scissor hands with the hedge trimmers!
Great fbg so little house on the McGarrett Prairie for JJ upcoming. As for the sleep, from what I've read it can go with the LC territory for a significant proportion. More exercise and energy expended perhaps means you can eat and deal with a few more carbs. Fitbit linked to Cronometer has clearly shown I sleep longer and better with more carbs on board (still <40.) Also, thanks for the cals related reply - especially not mentioning Fung or DD. Cals out wise I do my 10k steps but that is surely just a basic starter at my age?A good afternoon to all.
Monsieur M'tre informed
me today's gonna be a 5.3 kinda day.........gotta love that guy.
( Keeps on like this I'll have to consider quitting airbnb'ing in McGarrett Plains and look to buying somewhere of my own. )
A small ask.
Of late I've felt the best I have in a long while , aches, pains & limp not withstanding .
However I do sleep more..
...A lot more
Obv I'm back at work but only p/t & I'm doing gym twice a week, so using more energy
I've rationalised that if I'm not unwell (I don't feel ill )
That it's possibly part of my recovery ?
I like to visualise things.
For this the accident was a shipwreck .
I survived the ship going down, but for months maybe a year plus, I still felt the waves from it.
But now the waves aren't washing over me, but more ripples on the surface, so I'm not so disturbed by it.
So much so, that my body (likely my mind) is relaxed enough to now try recouping the energy it's expended over that time keeping me ticking over.
My mind feels 'calmer' in many ways, if that makes sense .
Am I widely off the mark ?
