What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I do have a big birthday coming up soon but I wouldn't eat it, my OH is trying to diet and my "local" son and family don't like fruit cake! I think it may be looking for a new home.soon. Perhaps I can donate it to my lovely lunch club family.

Bloods this morning were 6.0.

We made Christmas fruit cakes at school one year, we matured them for 6 months and laced them every week with the plonk and a bit more religiously!! The home economics room stank of booze for the next 6 months! When we had marzipaned and iced them, we took them home and displayed them on our Christmas tables. My relatives couldn't believe that I had produced such a fine cake with such potency! It was a brilliant Christmas and one I will not forget!!
 
5.7 here. No point delving too deeply into why as every day is, like us, an N=1 entity/event. Filler in a buffalo burger would be a person of interest in the investigation. @Estragon thoughts and prayers with you for the procedure and road to recovery. Love it!! Talking about adding the plonk that would never have happened at my school, the nuns wouldn’t have allowed it!

We did have nuns at our school and they were so strict, but the teacher we had was not religious in the slightest which is why we got away with it! She smoked like a trooper and always had a red face, I think she loved her liquor! Or high bp! She really was a scream and probably pushing daisies now:hilarious:
 
Morning all. Libre says 7.3, finger prick (when I got the blood out, difficult this morning) is 5.8. Guess which I prefer?

But it was nicely level all night hovering around 5.6 from bedtime. So the swim did good yesterday, gardening boots on today.
 
Hello all, well Libre decided to cop it and after whipping the thing off my arm I have a nice red irritation mark for its pleasure! 6.7 this morning and I will re apply a sensor on the other arm at some point but still not convinced we are a couple :shifty:
