What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.6

I have a few strategies in place for the trolls.
We'll see how I get on with that...

Advice yesterday was to stop all comments. A sensible idea and immediately stress free, but I don't want to do that, not yet anyway. The trolls hide behind privacy on their accounts, often with no posts themselves. So, they only have one intent which is to cause misery for others, and entertainment for themselves.

As I said I have several strategies. I am still working/researching on it. It is different within YouTube to Instagram. Both platforms are giving you, the creator, more control. So I am still investigating that.

Nighttime wildlife camera
Badger & Cat & Fox
Cat Midnight (eyes) & Boy Badger & Fox Foxy Loxy
57 seconds

Creative...
When I start in this app I have no idea of the finished product. I draw with my finger. The colours are random, not what I choose.
And then I put it in Procreate for some extra work...

I need a quick nap.
Coffee is drunk.
Have your best day.

Good luck with the whackatroll campaign strategy.

That pic...just felt cold looking at it..very effective.

Update. Probably best to avoid the *d. This will discombobulate a few. Processed meat is worse, no manure Sherlock.
All a nonsense imho

See the frankenburger meats are losing sales as people make the choice of real food over chemical companies food marketing ploys.

As for the meat thread..mmhh
So much disinformation & distortion in viewpoints.

I personally won't be taking much notice of it, so I doubt anyone else on here will ..(as in it's too late for us ;)...lol )

Afternoon all.

No fbg, but did have a lovely steak dinner last night, so probably should test to see if I've now got T2D.....mmmhh. lol

A little family bad news.
Niece let me know my middle nephew, ( been ill for a bit ) has now had results back saying lung cancer.

He's just waiting to hear full prognosis & any options available .

So saying prayers it's not as dark for him as it must now feel & there to be any actions that bring good results.

With all the talk of A.I. I wonder if and how I might get to try it out, so been keeping an eye on much that's posted about it.

This came across my feeds.

Nice to see it might just help the less tech able, get the most out of technology.

Not as I'm aware fully available right now, but deffo on the way.

Main clip info first 2 mins, but it runs on longer for those interested.

My best wishes for your nephew, mate.

Good news on Hive now behiving :banghead: Did Mr K avoid the big Paddington, cheap as chips reduced to clear (but fine for Saturday evening then grandson to play in) England RWC top and sirloin steak* JKP made me put in the trolley? We only went for dog food and baby wipes :arghh: . Aldi Newmarket is opposite the hospital where I had my bloods taken so back in November. Random strings of amazingly gorgeous (and very valuable) horses appear as if from nowhere in that town but they have right of way.
Update. Probably best to avoid the *d. This will discombobulate a few. Processed meat is worse - no manure Sherlock. Since it was US based did they control for the bun, fries, supersized shake and everything else along with the (processed) meat?
As you say Ian, results can be skewed by not allowing for other lifestyle factors (eg having minced beef with buns and chips and ignoring the fact that some people can't eat either nuts or legumes to make up the protein. Did they check vegeburgers, or chicken burgers in buns and with chips? I shall ignore those findings. Of course, if anyone wants to follow them, they are free to do so but I think it is something that the "stop eating meat to save the planet" brigade will latch onto.

Thoughts and prayers with your nephew and his loved ones.

I think I must continue my observations about the birdlife on the back footie pitches.
Whilst today, overnight and early mornings, the gull population is increasing in number.
The count was in the hundreds, a sprinkle of pigeons, a few magpies, blackbirds, such as ravens, crows. Other kinds but the one that caught my eye were the amount of starlings. There flying for about fifteen minutes had me enchanted. Maybe a little hypnotic.

And I must add to my post yesterday, as about fifteen years ago, I had one of my vivid technicolour story dreams. Where I found myself in a road full of shops, just as it was around the early twentieth century, on both sides of the road. I was looking for something, no idea what, but I was getting shouts from all the people that were by the shops.I travelled until the shops ended in some cottages. I can still smell the sea out at low tide.
I saw the ships, but far away.

You may think that this was just a dream of the kind I regularly have. However, I always knew from that dream, that it was local to my area, growing up, but I never knew where!
The scene in my dream, I have discovered going over the video a couple of times, is exactly of a road that was close by, but the shops were demolished after WW1, and replaced by the usual housing of that time.
I had absolutely no idea that road used to be there, that way, with all the shops. it served all the housing, also now gone, that bordered the river, and it doesn't seem likely but there was a large community of maybe two to three hundred two up, two down tenement houses and works, where now there is only about fifty modern(ish) houses and such. On the promenade, there is no housing now!

Think what you like, but my dreams are like this.
The question is how did my brain, know about this road?
Did I see photos of the road, as my dream depicted?
But I know I haven't!

Yeah I am weird!
Sometimes my weirdness is an issue of belief and my doubts about my sanity!
Or did I dream the reality of my dreams?

Have a wonderful evening.

My best wishes to you all as always!

All the best with that. Nasty stuff and hope that middle nephew gets through what may well be some trying times.

A lot of people have found since the pandemic getting back in nature really helps their mental state.

I once dreamt I had blood in my urine so I got my doctor to do a PSA test. It came back high and it turned out I had a stage three bilateral carcinoma of the prostate. When they biopsied me they put multiple needles through my rectal wall to plot the extent of the cancer. The dream was then fulfilled I had blood in my urine for two weeks.Which led to 37 days of radiotherapy and three years of hormone therapy.

Dreams are strange things. Mine are often rather weird and make me wonder about my mind. Not so much in terms of sanity but where the ideas come from which produce my dreams.

I did have what may have been some kind of waking dream not long ago. I was working on my laptop when I felt my husband (dead these 6 years) slide into the seat beside me. I couldn't see him, but somehow I knew he was there. No doubts in my mind. That feeling lasted for 3 days, gradually fading. It made me feel very happy. Could that have been real? It felt like it, but I don't believe in ghosts. The mind itself is a strange thing and dreams are one manifestation of that strangeness. I have no explanation to offer.

I have found when the dead are in dreams they are strangely silent and never converse.

I had lucid dreams for most of my life, thankfully these sometimes terrifying dreams where one can hallucinate stopped nearly twenty years ago.

Possibly the hypnogogic state!

I have those regularly. But the one I described was when fully awake and lasted during wakefulness for 3 days and was not there while I slept.

Other times when my husband has been involved in my dreams is when I am fast asleep and dreaming a really bad dream. Then, unable to pull myself out of it, I call out for help and then he steps into my dream and wakes me. I have had the odd one or two dreams where many of my dead relatives are there, but also some of the living ones.Tom is there then as well. As I say, dreams, and the mind, are odd things.

it's funny you say that?
I don't see any one else but extras in my dreams, it is always about myself being in a situation, that is what I mean by story dreams.
my wife has had visions, and seen close relatives but they never speak!!!!!
I wrote about many of my story dreams in the blogs that have since been taken off the site.
And those dreams have had a big effect on my way of thinking in many regards.
And often times, I have found myself on the floor, out of bed, in pain and bruised.
Hate those dreams, you can't escape the ending.
Horrid!

Weather latest!
In need of a boat to get across my garden, it is awash. More rain on the way. Does that mean a Hosepipe ban!

Locally after a few days that have been mainly dry, the water company has shocked a lot of residents as a burst main was opened and a lot of effluent was discharged. Oops!
And yes, it was intentional! It was supposed to be dealt with, in the system, but not there!
And yes, it should have been dumped in one of the outlets out in the river on the tide!
Disgusting!
