Weekly weigh in - Fridays

@Welshman1952 - just 1lb gain is really great all things considered, yes, I too would have put on a lot more over the festive period, so 1lb is a win in my books. We had fun playing Scrabble too, although I got well and truly thrashed, LOL.

@May Mic - you did well to just gain a small 1.2 over this time of year and you will get rid of that quickly enough, I am sure. Having an overall loss for the year is definitely a win!

Thank you very much, @IanBish

@aylalake - that is an amazing result and congratulations on being in the 80s, that is fabulous!

Oh my wife and I "cheat" like mad with Scrabble. We play "Mummy Rules" that dates back to when our kids were little. So you can swap letters with each other, shuffle letters around the board until you can go and at the end pour the last few letters out and jointly creates words until all the letters are gone. Nobody ever wins but it's great fun.

Now that's a game I can get behind:joyful:, tho it would drive my Times cross word husband mad;)

Hi everyone, it is nice to be back to normal, but not so nice being back at work.

I am impressed with the success here this week:

@filly that is a great loss, I will be crossing my fingers that it stays off for you too.

@IanBish - you did well, a good overall result!

@aylalake .9kg is a great loss this week - well done.

@Keith Saunders that is a good loss since just Monday - and an overall result since the end of November.

@EllieM - well done, you lost 100g, so that is a great result.

@bolingbroke losing 4lbs over the past two weeks is amazing and 7stone overall is fantastic!

@MissMuffett - well done on knocking off the Christmas weight so quickly - losing 1lb over this period is fabulous.

Well, I don't know how, but I managed to lose 3lbs this week, it may be due to being back at work or that finally the sniffles and cough have cleared up (mostly) and I am back to walking again. I was worried that last weekend's celebrations and Monday's meal would have scuppered things, but it seems I am able to moderate my food a bit better now I have got used to smaller portions.

Good luck for the week ahead, all, we got through the toughest time of the year, it will be a lot easier now!

Fabulous results from so many, very happy for you all. I put on 100g last week, TBH surprised it's not more, I've been grazing on rubbish and struggling to get back in my rhythm. It's going to be worse next week as on hollibobs with friends so I know I'm going to be naughty. Hayho, I'm looking at ut as a pause in proceedings and normal service will resume on my return.

Well done all for getting through the trickiest time of year.

If I may humbly join this group it may help me.

I've always struggled with weight, basically because I addicted to food. I would think nothing of "shopping" for 3 hours just to look at food and plan meals.
Anyway, I am really doing it this time. On 01.91.2024 I was 260.2 pounds, which is nearly 20 lb lighter that 12 months ago.

Today, I am 252.8 lbs, 7.4 lb down in 5 days.

Well done to all lovers, those who didn't lose, do you know why?

Take care.

Alan.

Well 100g is not too bad at all and hopefully when you get back from your hollibobs, you will knock it off again. Have a lovely time!
