Commonly used as guard animals in my experience. Better for deterring humans rather than animals as they obviously have predators. Not especially academic but you will get the gist![]()

Tho I think it's spelled
Antiduckophobia .....
Just saying ..
And on that note, recent holiday.
Geese roaming the streets of that spa pool hotel.
Last day leaving previous year, they gathered around the car as we prepared to leave .
Once in the car trying to move past them carefully.
We must have upset one.
It went full Rambo goose on the cars tyres.
Thought we might have to stop before it injured itself .
But it called off the attack and just sauntered off back the others all gangster like giving it Charlie big potatoes vibe
That one I'm sure watched me the entire holiday this time ....![]()

Damon needs one of these. I assume auto-correct didn't like Gammon (could be Mammon I guess, especially if soaking in Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1945) - excellent discernment in both cases, I might add. Or perhaps one's device has AI which is sensitive to the use as an offensive description of those such as Lord Big Dave, others of the Chipping Norton set and certain politicians of a particular persuasion, by some perfidious Marxist ingrates.7.0 which has become the norm I think.
Have had fun with #8 this morning, instead of chores.
And got me playing tag. I did catch him once or twice.
My lad was astounded at my running around.
He nearly phoned an ambulance.
Frosty out here, with the sky dominated by the lights.
Sunny but cold wind.
Cricket was a unbelievable win.
Football needs a rethink.
Darts were very enjoyable.
Damon is soaking for the weekend.
Best wishes to you lot as always.

Well that unexpectedly turned into a debate about the Monarchy. Nought to Kemi in under five seconds . It was only Bantz, LaWho is Damon?
Some toff defo has that name, wether Christian or not.
And anyone noticed it is first name on government forms now?
Gammon is very worthy name for ........!
I can't bring myself anymore, to mention them.
They are a farce of Brian Rix proportions.
And I must reread my posts.
And I must chide myself later for the misspelling of my weekend roast.
And I must concentrate on my duties more.

Latest end of year figures of how much the Windsor family is costing the taxpayer has now topped half a billion pounds sterling per year. This does not take account of security or army provision.
One of the richest families in the country, is now costing as much as one million of the poorest families.
This is why the UK is broken and perverse.

Worth a debate but timing would be completely wrong with sky high sympathy for the King and Kate just now.I'm not being Woke, but have you noticed, and it is funny, that, that them Scousers are represented as being the dregs of the earth?
And most of the comic characters are of the working class or the poor.r
there is not many rich Scousers that are proverbial laughed at.
Mollie Sugden is one, in which series?
Remember Bread?R
all on the dole Scouse scroungers?
shocking my mate!
I really do think it's time for a rethink on monarchy in this country and not France's way but either Netherlands or Sweden.
It is frosty elsewhere the kingdom.Worth a debate but timing would be completely wrong with sky high sympathy for the King and Kate just now.
It is frosty elsewhere the kingdom.
And getting darker earlier.
The outlook is wet spells and colder climes.
More horrendous in November in the States.
finished Chelsea detective.
not bad, watchable.
Thankyou @ianpspursMorning all from a gorgeously blue skied, sunny but cold L.A. where the heating definitely kicked in this morning but only because I raised the threshold from 13 °C: cue Shirley B trilling away. @Krystyna23040 I hope the jabs go well. We all had ours last Thursday. No stiffness in the delts for me but a definite uptick in resting pulse which may not be linked but is a suspect of interest in enquiries. @gennepher have mercy on the staff at that health centre they (sometimes/often?) know not what they say from your accounts of your interactions or non-interactions. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art and that new word. Ducks and geese eh? reminds me to look out for a Martinmas Goose from Lidl and take down my duck/goose (can’t remember now) feather gilet (Puma but Pep doesn't wear them)- thank you. @gennepher thank you for sharing the creative - reminds me of a Native American decoration: I know, I know, just humour me (muffin me: that ad is possibly the funniest thing on tv just now) and move along fast. Yesterday afternoon and the evening meal were Goldilocks events but this post is too long already so I'll be back. Super salmon salad day for me so thanks be to God as by His grace one pleasure is guaranteed here. I wish you all experience something similar and more today.

Thank you.Nice buy, I think .
Linux runs most of the world
But I do hear good things about potluck o/s
'out∅f 1.0' is the older version
and no longer updated
I hope yours comes with 'lots∅f 3.0’ Good karma version is said to be the best.
Best wishes it all goes seamlessly & offers a decent back up alternative for you .
That is really interesting @ianpspurs. All went well with the jabs except that I had been puzzled that my heart rate has been much higher than usual since the jab. Hopefully it settles down quite quickly. Without my fitbit I would never have known. No stiffness in the delts for me but a definite uptick in resting pulse which may not be linked but is a suspect of interest in enquiries.
How exasperating! @gennepher. It's irritating enough when one's hearing is merely impaired. I wear hearing aids both ears and have experienced a similar failing with one of my credit cards.Fbg 7.1
And the bank still won't accept my legitimate password and my legitimate code from my secret password... I have this correctly written down and I used this before, to get online in the first place... It goes on to a bot telephoning me, but there is no provision for a deaf person. Except it did say, if you are deaf, then after 30 seconds type in this code number. I did that and I think it said you haven't typed in the code number, goodbye. A horrible voice not clear, and I was using a speech to text app on another device to try to cope. I tried twice, same thing happened each time, and the bot that phoned me cut me off again. I didn't try a third time in case my bank account got locked down.
