What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Today for lunch I had a sourdough bacon sandwich. My blood sugar went from 4.8 → 7.2 two hours later, so a slightly higher rise than I'd like. For dinner I had a smoked frankfurter, mushroom and cheese omelette, with garden peas and a tomato. I didn't check my sugars; they should be okay after that.

Yesterday I had

Ham and cheese salad with olives.

Croque monsieur. It was French week at Lidl and this looked like a tasty way to test bread without buying a whole loaf.

Spicy chicken thigh.

A slightly excessive number of jalapeño flavoured jelly beans. I had a couple to soothe a tickly throat, which soon became a couple more and then a handful. They are years out of date so do need using up, but maybe not so many in one go.

Today, nothing so far. I'm flaked out in an armchair after taking in supermarket delivery and hubby is snoring on the sofa, so it'll be a while yet!

Breakfast kefir then poached eggs and mushrooms
Lunch celery, cheese and LC seeded crackers followed by the first few raspberries from my garden served with spoon of yoghurt
Dinner two cheese burgers served on one low carb roll - new type of rolls I'm trying from Seriously Low Carb and enjoyed - a bit like a soft brioche bun - if I remember after 8+ years of no normal bread! Side of coleslaw.

B- toasted cheese sandwich made with 2 slices SRSLY fruit loaf. 2 slices was too carby for breakfast - rookie error!
L- tuna melt muffin with some salad followed by rhubarb and Greek yoghurt.
D- bavette steak and salad. I cooked it rare and rested 10mins as most recipe websites said, but it was quite tough. Such a shame. Warm DGF brownie and cream cheered me up afterwards.

Breakfast: back to my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: egg mayo sandwiches made from low carb bread with coleslaw.

Truro Waitrose doesn’t stock olinas crackers either sadly, but I got some delivered today as part of a mixed low carb box from Heylo. I’ve never tried their low carb bread.
B- greek yoghurt and rhubarb.
L- bacon and eggs.
Supper - slice of low carb ‘quiche’ made with slices of corned beef in place of pastry, and filled with a tub of cottage cheese mixed with eggs and seasonings. 4sq Montezuma’s.

Good news
Which shelf? What offer? I can rarely find them in either small Waitrose nearby or larger one 20 miles away
I shop online with Waitrose as my nearest store is about 15 miles away and book a saver four hour slot for £2
