What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

As it's Christmas, I treated myself to breakfast - cofee with cream, a small bowl of nuts and a slug of single malt. Usual brunch, dinner will be roast rib of beef in Guinness with sweet chestnuts and mushrooms, broccoli, sprouts and caulifloer, with a glass of red wine and some Montezuma's for pudding. Maybe another single malt.

There's been a lot of coffee today, as well as turkey, ham, stuffing, parsnips, carrots, a couple of roasties, sausages, bacon, sprouts (fried with garlic butter and pancetta), celeriac poached in cream with a pecorino cheese sauce.... with some brunello and now some valpolicello ripasso. In the future there will be cheese and more cheese. And whiskey, or grappa, or possibly both. Not at the same time, though.

Went to family's for Christmas dinner. I had turkey, chicken, beef and pork, with mashed swede, mashed parsnip, sprouts, peas, a pig in blanket, and a couple of roasties. And a prawn cocktail to start. A bit stuffed now. But it was a good day.

Happy Christmas everyone, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful and low carb day.
I can’t actually remember if I had breakfast. It seems such a long time ago now!
Lunch was traditional fair: turkey, red cabbage, sprouts with bacon, celeriac dauphinoise and h/m low carb stuffing. A DGF Christmas pud and clotted cream.
Later in the evening a slice of L/c fruitcake with a slice of cheese ( a la @shelley262 and I can confirm it’s an excellent combo)
Now family has all departed I’m relaxing with a glass of Sipsmiths orange gin

Usual brunch. extra container of nuts pre-dinner. Dinner was hotpot made from leftover beef, leeks, green tomatoes, mushrooms, with sprouts, small glass red wine slug of single malt, 4 squares Montezuma's finest

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a low carb mince pie.
Dinner: roast lamb dinner, lamb roasted with garlic and rosemary, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, Brussels, a couple of small roast potatoes, a small Yorkshire pudding, gravy and a teaspoon of rosemary jelly.

Breakfast of scrambled egg on L/c toast.
Main meal mid aft was the usual Boxing Day selection of cold meats: (turkey, gammon and topside of beef) with bubble&squeak, which in my case was baked leftover sprouts and bacon topped with cheese.
Pudding was from a Waitrose recipe card: blueberry and white chocolate pots. I used DGF white chocolate which worked well so I was very pleased with this indulgent low carb treat.
Supper was a slice of Panda Pantry fruitcake and cheese.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas - some lovely low carb treats and ideas here.
I've had a lovely time with family - just gone with the flow after lots of preparation.
On the naughty list I had a few teaspoons of normal tiramisu but added it to thick cream to give me the intense flavour but keep it lower carb. One of my gifts was a box of Hotel chocolat dark mix chocolate - which although it's a 70% mix tastes very sweet compared to my normal 90% or 100%! I've managed to eat about half the box over the hols - probably best when all gone it's addictive!I I also had to try one of the Jamie Oliver roast potatoes on the day and a spoon of real bread sauce.
Overall though mainly stuck to my low carb versions of treats and meals.
We have lots of leftovers in the fridge - Turkey, ham, stuffing and sausages - so planning today on mainly cold cuts and salad bits.
Edit to add photo of cold cuts and salad had for dinner

Coffee and unsweetened almond milk x 2
Cheese tomato
Smoked salmon
Small piece of Gammon. Too salty so shall end up chucking rest out!
Moo Pie

Yesterday started with scrambled eggs on LC toast.
Lunch was a slice of cold beef with celeriac dauphinoise, red pepper and cornichons for crunch. The beef was cooked sous vide at 56C for 12 hr and was perfect. My kind of cooking - shove it in a bag and leave it alone.
Dinner: turkey curry. I’m already fed up with turkey.

Lunch cheese, nuts and LC seeded crackers followed by piece of panforte - very tasty
Dinner used up left over turkey and ham ( some has also been frozen) and made a turkey, ham and creamy mushroom pie using Panda flour. Photo of whole pie - I had a portion served with sprouts. It's very good pastry.

Breakfast- ham and eggs
Lunch- cheese, walnuts 2 thin apple slices. DGF Christmas pud and clotted cream.
Dinner - like @shelley262 I’m using up leftover turkey and ham in a pie! The pie I made was a DietDoctor recipe I make most years. https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/keto-chicken-curry-pie Today I had it with Brussels and the last of the celeriac dauphinoise. White chocolate and blueberry pot for pud.

The pie sounds amazing. I’ve saved it use. We’re celebrating Christmas on 30th as one daughter had to work until morning of 27th and then travel across the country to us.
