Down a little today at 4.8 so I'm very happy. Total weight loss 34lbs as of today since 8th December and my home test hba1c meter tells me I'm down to 42 from 62. It's going in the right direction. I've treated myself to a slice of wholemeal toast with my creamy cheesy scrambled eggs this morning and I'm going to see if my IR has improved any. Fingers crossed

Glad it’s moving in the right direction. Baby steps.
Anaemia will certainly give you those symptoms, hope you can get it sorted soon

My fbgs have been creeping up this week. I'm not sure why, but I hope it's just temporary.

@Prem51 I know the feeling it is very frustrating. May be a low level virus or the weather or who knows but it will come back to trend eventually.

Many thanks. I have been on iron tablets for a while now, nurse mentioned that anaemia can cause higher blood sugar readings so will hopefully see improvements soon.
