What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast kefir then scrambled eggs
Lunch one slice of hm LC bread with some cheese followed by bit of my hm panforte
Dinner chicken breast stuffed with chorizo and cheese served with tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms followed by DGF mince pie warmed and served with thick cream.

Had a stressful morning as my dog hurt his leg and had to go to the vet ( he’s ok, on painkillers and supposed to rest it now!!). Then broke my favourite coffee mug. Annoyingly I dealt with this by eating, and by 10am Id had a slice of yesterday’s pie, 2 slices of buttered lc fruit loaf and some walnuts.
Managed to stop being silly and waited until tea time for salad with another slice of pie and a slice of cold roast beef. A blueberry and white chocolate pot to follow.

Coffee and unsweetened almond milk x 2
Egg and potato salad
Yogurt small pot
Chicken garlic and Lemon Roast

Today for lunch was some corned beef and pickle in a couple of wholemeal baps (the CGM approved though). And for dinner I used up the last of the Christmas sprouts, mixed with mushrooms, carrots and green beans, and fried in a garlic & chilli sauce. The sprouts were the best, though. No chocolate (had too much of that), just a few Brazil nuts.

For lunch today I had a ham and boiled egg wholemeal sandwich. And for dinner I had a battered haddock fillet with mushy peas. I put on 2 lbs over Christmas, so no chocolate again, just a few Brazil nuts.

Happy New Year everyone. I'm planning a small brandy to see the New Year in later and will also be having a DGF chocolate orange brownie with coffee and a splash of Brandy and cream at some stage this evening.

Usual brunch. Dinner was roast beef with sprouts and broccoli, followed by 4 squares of Montezuma.s and accompanied by a monster glass of Glenmorangie to usher in the New Year as I don't intend to stay up.

Dinner: last big meal of the festive season, back to the usual dinners from tomorrow. So we had a three bird roast with mixed veggies, two small roasties, one small yorkie, two parsnips, cranberry sauce and gravy.
Blood sugar peaked at 6.8 at around 45 mins and is now on it’s way down :)

That's a good result. You could have something like that more often without worrying. :)
