    How to carry insulin...

Hi all. Like a lot of people on Insulin I use Frio products. I have the wallet and the carry case and they do me fine. I just wonder if there's anything out there particularly suitable for a night out that isn't quite as bulky as the carry case but a but more sturdy than the wallet. I guess...

Had my flu shot a few weeks ago and my pneumo jab a couple of weeks ago. No real problem with either but the pneumo jab does give you a dead arm for about 24 hours!

    Energy gels/glucose tablets.

Re: Energy gels/glucose tablets. I use Clif Shot Blocks and GU energy gels. Both are very tasty and easy to take. I've worked out that I need about 8-10 grams of carbs for every 1/2 hour of exercise through trial and error / monitoring.

I smoke, drink and eat chocolate - bite me!!

I think the problem Mrspuddle, is that so many people on this forum put in a lot of effort to get their diabetes under control, and the way you worded the title to this thread is perhaps a little provocative...you touched a nerve! Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Wagamamma

Went to wagamamma for lunch Today. Their website has all the nutritional values for all their meals. For somewhere that I had previously thought was fairly healthy it was a shock! Figures like 140g of carbs for a lot of the meals!! I'm sure I've read on here that the max bolus insulin in one...

    hypo like symptoms

Sausages certainly can contain carbs. Read the label. Even the best sausages in this country are only around 80% meat and contain things like breadcrumbs and some contain sugar too. I had some top quality sausages tonight but each one contained 4g of carbs. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
