Mind u, he probables feels he's constantly at docs/hospital lately. Give him breathing space and he'll realise its not normal to have the pain and vision problems. He would be shocked if he lost his sight. Everyone believes it won't happen to them. Until it does.
I bet a few type 1s would love there vision back.
Type 2s were usually in old age so their sight was starting to fail, anyway so brushed off.
However I'm decades from being in old age so I wouldnt accept failing vision very well. Nor should we.
tina_marie how has Rons diabetes progressed so quickly? Has he been ignoring diabetes for a while before diagnosis?
