Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Was 25.5 before bed and awoke to 19.8 this morning.
I'm going to fast until it drops below 10 mmol.........
I'm fairly new to all this, but will take things on board and learn.....
Hello and welcome to this FBG thread for type 2s. We're pleased you could join us.

Those readings look awfully high. If I were you, I'd telephone your GP's practice on Monday morning and make an appointment. Please keep us informed.

Please can I just remind everyone that this is a “very low chat level” thread. If you like to record your FBS with some chat as well, this might be a more suitable place:
Also if you have a question, may be post your own thread in an appropriate forum.

Hi , Thanks for the welcome and reply.
Yes, looking at most readings on here , mine are high and I plan to speak to, or see my G.P. on Monday as long as they have appointments available.
I'll let you know what happens.

Hi and welcome. Fasting can put stress on your body and can raise your BG. What do you eat in a normal day? maybe we can help with suggestions and bring your numbers down?
