Weekly weigh in - Fridays

That's fantastic - a terrific achievement.

Thank you. I have, but not that much. About two more stone to go for me, before I see how I feel and look. Hopefully not too much longer. The new scales should hopefully help a bit.
Thanks @IanBish - you can do it, just keep chipping away you will get to goal in time.

Down 4 ozs 218.4 slow as a snail continues

Up 1.4. I'm blaming lack of activity, not enough water and somehow chocolate and chips found their way into after dinner nibbles. Where is that brake pedal?

Hi everyone, I stayed the same this week.

Well done @filly at least it is in the right direction.
That is good, @EllieM and yes, I am sure you can get to below 70.
Uh-oh, @IanBish - sourdough would be too tempting for me too.
Eek, @May Mic time to get back on the straight and narrow (although I must admit, I felt as if a few extra nibbles were calling my name this week too.

Have a good week, we can do this!

Down 2lbs!
Not celebrating yet, have a way to go.
Have gone very strict low carb (no Christmas birts ^that can't hurt too much" or daily reward glass of wine)

Down .8 this week. I'm stopping the after dinner nibbles which helps.

UP 0.6lb to 219.4

I was diagnosed T2 in October 2024, at the time 97kg and 165cm tall. Well, the height is never changing except maybe decreasing as I age....but since then I have done a low carb diet and been within target of 125g daily about 95% of the time. In between then and now there has been a 3 week far east cruise and Christmas, which did halt progress a little...but hey life is for living. Just before the cruise I had got to 89kg, and post cruise and Christmas saw that rise to 91kg. Which wasn't as bad a hit as it could have been ...but today....having gone quite strict again ...87.5kg. With a multi-gym delivered (scheduled to be built and running by end of February due to garage reconfig thats needed) and thrice weekly walking football sessions at an hour a time, plus the ongoing dog walks, I'm confident I can hit my 80kg inital target by target day of May 16th. I've discovered Westbrooks brewery low carb beers which help on the rare occasions I fancy a beer, Happy Jo's low carb keto ice cream (not cheap) and sugar free polo mints to just calm down coffee mouth . My own response to T2 has surprised me, this regime has seem my HBA1C drop from 50 to 44 in 3 months , I feel more 'lively' and quite honestly more positive. My diabetes nurse has been ghreat, not lecturing but advising and also saying the odd breach of targets (meals out/parties) is OK as long as I revert to type the next day. Happy days.

Up again 219.8 + 4ozs
