Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.

Hello everyone, sorry to have been absent these past 2 weeks, I have been working away from home and I have been completely exhausted. Anyway, despite struggling with food choices, I have only gained 1lb, now I have to get it off again but I know what to do.

Good luck with your weigh-ins everyone and with the week ahead!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

I managed to lose half a pound this week - why is it so quick to go up, but so slow to go down??

I hope the scales are giving you some love today! :)

Up 1.2. I am on a different scale, so that's part of it. Eating too much may, and I repeat may, have something to do with it!

Don't think you can compare different scales.

I've been visiting my brother and sick father (much better now luckily) and manages a brief foray under 70kg on my brother's scales, but I don't really believe it, and am now on 70.2kg, which I'd be overjoyed about if it weren't that I suspect the weight loss is due to a stomach bug I may have picked up on the plane....

I agree @EllieM - I got weighed at the GP a few weeks ago and their scales always weigh me a good few lbs lighter. I weighed myself half an hour later at home and I was 7lb heavier on my scales, I trust my scales more as I can tell by my clothes.

3 weeks later I got weighed again at the GP in a different room and was even lighter. I mentioned this to the nurse so she took me through to the other room and weighed me there. There was 5lb difference! She said both scales are calibrated so can’t understand it. From now on I’m going to take my weigh in at the GP with a big pinch of salt. As long as I’m seeing a downward trend on my own set then I’ll stick to those

Someone I know was assured by the nurse that the surgery scales were calibrated to total accuracy. Said person remarked in turn that they had seen staff using the scales to step on so they could reach higher shelves.

Disappointingly the same.
Have been trying to lose weight.
5/7 days alcohol free.
Only 50g nuts in the week.
Cut down on cheese too.
