14 stone 5 yesterday. Getting there again
You and me bothOK, I'm back (was away for 2 weeks so no access to scales).
Went to see friends and family in Australia for the first time since covid. Gathered a deep respect for salt water crocodiles which will basically eat anything and can travel up to 30km/hr over short distances.
74.2kg, could be worse but definitely need to start watching the cheese (sigh).
and 73kg this week, much better...74,2kg again, though I've had some high 73s during the week. Sigh....
Wow - congratulations!Down to 11st 12lbs on my scales now, which is also the first time my BMI has been in the healthy, under-25 range in several decades.
Hi Ryhia, well done on keeping on top of it, I am sure you will be back to a more comfortable weight soon!Hi all,
I used to post to this thread regularly when I was first diagnosed a few years ago, but when I got to "normal" BMI weight levels my weight plateaued and I stopped reporting to the thread. On diagnosis, my weight was 80kgs after a few months of low carbing my weight reduced to 53 kilos (see my sig) however recently the weight has started to creep back on and I am hitting 60kg. which feels uncomfortable. I know I over indulge on nuts and cream and cheese and other low carb, high calorie stuff plus I never used to drink alcohol but now don't mind a glass of wine or a good whiskey on occasion. Bad habits creeping in. I am now trying to cut back on the naughty stuff and thankfully I have managed to lose a kilo but it has taken a while to manage this. Losing weight is definitely much harder this time round.![]()
It could well be water, I find I get a little swelling when it is hot.Put on 9ozs! 215.4
